Maxing the profession isn’t as hard as getting the full knowledge tree. That takes time.
Buying the herbs is very expensive atm as it’s so early on.
Just go to wow-professions. They have a pretty good guides how to make it as cheap as possible. Also download Auctionator, so you can see how much it costs to craft an item.
It’ll cost a lot with current prices… so if you want to dampen the blow get herbalism.
I have herbalism,forgot to mention it…Does anyone know how much gold aprox would it cost?
Depends how much herbs you get yourself.
If it only costs you vendor stuff, it’s pretty cheap.
I leveled it over a few days, herbing quite a bit, but I think I spend about 15-20k on stuff to make it faster. Easy enough to earn that back atm.
I leveled it for an achievement only, so I didn’t pay any attention to quality and such.

ok thats not bad…is there a addon that tells me which herb is on the map?
Gathermate2 is one of the more popular ones I think?
Maybe Farmhud is useful too?
Not sure how good those mods are, I don’t use them myself. I just do it by memory.
