The average trashy mobile game has more devs working for it than classic has.

I personally find leveling in WotLK one of the best expansions for leveling - you have a ton of ways to reach 80 to spice up the “grind” and even so, leveling is so much easier and faster compared to TBC and Vanilla.
I’d recommend you try maximizing your gear while leveling to keep it fun for you, that way you can cheese a lot of stuff; Big AoE pulls, soloing dungeons etc etc

ooh you sweet summer child…
I mean i agree that leveling is boring, but you got bored after the second time:P

This though, you personally think leveling is fun. Therefore you can spice things up, and still enjoy it.

For so many others, leveling is proper pain, its a tedious and dull grind (that some have done tens of times). There really isnt a way to spice things up then if you already done it multiple ways.

I thought about leveling another char, but i just cba. Even though leveling in wotlk is so much better compared to vanilla/tbc (talents for example), its still a loong grind. Ill be content with the 80’s i have.

Why do people even play WOTLK then?

The long leveling is one of the good parts.

This might surprise you, but different people enjoy different parts of the game. Here is the problem, doesnt matter what you enjoy the most (pvp, raids, heroics, collecting mounts etc) you ALWAYS have to level first.
So as someone who enjoys leveling, imagine having to do X amount of bgs, raids or dungeons first before you can keep leveling.

Then why is all the focus on endgame content?

Fancy being expected to level your character in an MMO. What’s the world coming to?

Its not fun when its the 19th time, specially when NOTHING is changed in the leveling process. And to make matters worse, you dont have RDF, which was a nice way of getting a break from questing atleast. Without having to spend an hour assembling group and travel to the dungeon.

This game is supposed to be fun, no?

We have a Quick to level version called Dragonflight tjo, If people want to jump almost straight into endgame without a 50-100hr leveling commitment

I don’t know why you put so much focus on Ulduar.

If you want to instant go raid, Just buy the boost.

I would enjoy slow leveling while we have it available tho.

Soon they will probably make RDF meta for leveling and give XP bonuses

Its not just ulduar, everything you do while leveling is to reach max level content.

If i could buy multiple boosts, i would. I would even buy ingame boosts for gold (dungeon rushes)

Thats perfectly fine, and you should be welcome to level the way YOU want. You dont have to use heirlooms, you dont have to use the 50% buff.
That works for you, and thats how it should be.

This is what i dont understand, why is that a bad thing? If you dont wanna do it, then dont. There are so many anti-rdf and anti-xp buff out there, you’d think you had enough for TONS of non-rdf dungeons.

Why is it then so bad, when people who DONT want it your way, get RDF?
Anti-rdf’ers can queue their normal way, social pillars and whatnot. And the rdf’ers can go RDF.

ROFL then what u even doing on these boards?? get back to ur my wickle dwagon

Dude if u only like one tiny part of the game downing raid bosses again and again then u dont find much about this game fun save for that bit of it

What you mean, 1 tiny part? This entire game is revolving around end-game content. All new patches, bring new raids and new dungeons. Nothing they add has anything to do with the leveling experience. If anything, leveling is the tiny part in the game.

All the competition and e-sport events is about end-game content as well.

I also enjoy arena, and occasional bgs when i dont need honor. But there is less and less of that, sadly.

Why indeed? Why play a 15 year old rerun of a game and stress with burning through its content to race to the red light?

Because thats how scary their (real) life is.

Well, OP. Maybe Classic isn’t the game for you, then.
