Leveling or boosting?

I have been wondering if it’s worth buying a boost or just level up a character normally?

Cause i have leveled up a few characters to 70, 80 and 90 but i have just been to lazy to keep leveling them up, and not only that but i keep getting bored doing it.

So if anyone could help me or give me any suggestions it would be nice! Thanks!

I can tell you that it’s not worth it for me but for you it might be. I don’t know much you value things. Can you afford it? Do you have little time to play and level up? You can only determine this.

One thing is that you might feel lost and confused what to do after the boost. But again, leveling is also kind of confusing with it’s incomplete storylines.

Draenor it’s only 2 hrs work … than you can make invasion from Legion when they are up .

Well i used my free boost that i got with BFA, i bought character boost only once when i had few horde characters and i wanted to play with my friends that were alliance so i boosted ally char to play with them.
I personally would not buy it just to get to lvl 110, but then again i like leveling new characters.

IMO leveling is such a pain even boosting a DH is worth it.

well every single person I know of that’s boosted has regretted it cos they ended up with a max character that they didn’t give a damn about … but up to you.

As someone who boosted two characters yesterday, let me give you some advice.

  • Till 8th August, get a new WoW license for your account (wow1 is your main acc perhaps, just open up some new trial/starter accounts for that) through the special offer for 25 Euros. You see, the character boosts are account-wide. If you were prepared to spend +50 Euros for a boost, consider buying two licenses which comes cheaper and you get more for your money.
  • Never boost a character above 40. It’s simply not worth it. At LV40 you almost at 50% of the grinding because starting with LV90 you can easily get to 110 without any problems if you have the Draenor or Legion-pathfinder.
  • Boost only races and classes you don’t already have. I, for once, boosted a Tauren and a Goblin to LV110 because I realized that I don’t want to spend the whole summer grinding these levels up. Besides, you still have a lot to do in 8.2.

Secondly, some suggestions which will help leveling your other characters:

  • Get the mining/herbalism profession, it helps a lot.
  • Only level them through dungeons when they have a completely rested EXP-bar at 150% or 300% (Pandaren).
  • Level them through timewalking. I’m guilty as charged by doing this, especially LV111-120 which is way faster then the normal leveling process.
  • Ask some friends for help if you don’t have the needed requirements to rush the WoD/Legion-expansion for the treasure hunts/world quests.

I would say from lvl 90 it’s not worth the money (just my opinion) draenor doesn’t take long with treasure chests and bonus areas and legion has invasions plus xp boosts from the mission table if you set it up and then you’re into BFA which slows down but has the incursion things and xp boost from that. Just get mining and herbology professions too for the extra xp to speed things up a bit more.

If you wanna level from 1 or 20 then it’s probably more worth the money.

I find splitting levelling up in my head helps cut the tedium of it so I don’t think of the end goal of 120 but the next small goal so either the next xpac or the next talent and just aim for that and makes it seem easier to get through.

Good luck which ever way you decide to go.
