Is anyone else here leveling alts 50-60 exclusivelly through gathering professions? I finished the Shadowlands campaign once and by god can’t bring myself to level via questing anymore. For me, the SL alt leveling experience is on pair with BfA’s. So it’s farming oxxein and marrowroot 50-60 XD.

Exclusively - no, but leveling mostly through mining + herbing is definitely the fastest way to up. Just add in the occasional easy quest that you stumble upon and you’re done.
Added bonus you’ll either make gold or collect mats on the way for your max level chars.
Most of my alts leveled 50 to 60 via Pet Battles, Dailies in WoD zones and Darkmoon Faire.
Pretty slow but somehow less tedious than SL threads of fate.

Pet battle, archeology, cooking and fishing dailies 
Even PvP now and then
Basically anything that is not SL

I pretty much leveled most of the way on my first time through by mining, then just flew through the story because I didn’t care about it lol.
I’ll probably do the same again with Dragonflight, especially with mining being expanded upon and ore having lore

I did help my velf priest’s leveling with gathering, but found it slow.
Would be happily leveling in Torg if it gave gear rewards 
Timewalking too is an option if it’s up (think Legion timewalk should be still active, give it a try). That’s also non-SL content.
And battlegrounds too - but do get your covenant ability to make your job easier.
Planning on leveling a Druid soon, but really dread the Shadowlands part.
That means spamming Legion dungeons? Would probably rather run the same dungeon 100 times than suffer through that insipid Bastion for the third time.
You know the situation is dire when people look for anything BUT the current content to level toons

I tried, but I got bored fast… Even if I combined it with exploring
I only level through timewalking, I got 0 classes at 60 that can’t tank. ( I refuse to go heal ).
It’s because Blizzard designs zones as a rollercoaster instead of old way where you got a bunch of quests u can choose from. Now u must always do the same boring quests it gets old fast
I wish i could level through cooking, blacksmithing or any other profession like in GW2 to me wow really needs more options to level because i do not want to do a single bear butt collecting quest ever again.
I leveled up my Druid from 50-60 by only doing mining and herbalism. I wasnt really in a hurry to level him up, and it was a goos way to earn some bonus gold. Basicly when I was bored I loged on to my droid and gathered some ore and herbs and sold all of them. Because I didnt really do it every day I also had rested xp for most of my lvling, but it wasnt that bad at all.
