Please allow us to level up 60-70 in other expansions.
I could barely level up 2 characters in dragonflight, the rest are all stuck at 62-64.
The thought of questing in Ohn’Ahran plains ever again is siphoning life out of my soul. I cannot find a more boring experience than this.
Thank you.

I agree but I haven’t liked leveling alts since Legion. There are too few zones and leveling paths now, BFA had three zones to level in and SL four.
Legion had Order Hall Campaigns and Legion Invasions (each of which gave a little more than a full level).
I have 2 level 70s and I won’t be leveling more through DF. I might level some in Pre-Patch events etc.
I guess I’m back to how I was in TBC - Cata where I had 2 max level characters and some lower level alts for playing around.

Agreed, it’s awful… I can suggest buying afk level boost(the only boost that I think is ok…) or just wait for time walking event

I’m not sure if they’ll ever change the you have to level in the current expansion or not system. It’s not the first time I’ve seen the request. No harm in asking!!!
Timewalking events are usually very good for levelling alts, even dungeon spam in DF works. I boosted a friend on my main through dungeons from 60-70, and we did it in a day. The dungeons went fast because I killed everything efficiently and quickly. However I presume even at a regular pace they’d be better than doing the questing again.
I only really like running through the quests twice, so main and first alt. After that I’m just bored with it and looking at alternatives.
I know you can do Time Rifts and Dreamsurges to level too but I have no idea how busy they are now.

Legion is exciting to level up in, you gain a lot of stuff - class halls stories and artifacts.
Shadowlands and BfA are exiciting for the first few times, then it gets repettitive and boring.
But still, it would be nice to have options instead of being forced to repeat the same questing for every alt.
Thank the gods for timewalking, it spices things up a little, but it’s not a permanent feature.

So don’t. Do the walrus people quest line. I never get tired of doing that.

To be honest the leveling between level 1-60 is too fast, that is why leveling in Dragonflight is so slow. It would be better if the experience was a linear line upwards so to speak, and not like it’s currently with Dragonflight where the experience gained is low.

Because the system is not so good. Corny time-travel stuff is ok, but it does not get people invested in leveling.
If I were them I’d revamp the leveling system and split it across zones, not expansions. And I’d actually bother with some proper rewards per zone.
So let’s say you do Duskwood, right? You get a series of story quests you have to go through which will not only give you much needed experience but also some cosmetic rewards related to the zone or the story. Like, I don’t know, Duskwood Person Casual Outfit.

But you can.
I only have 2 toons.
But I have friends and guildies where alts are their thing and have over 50 of them.
What they do is take advantage of the Timewalking dungeons to powerlevel alts from 10 to 70 in literally 1 afternoon. All they do in DF is step foot, do 5 quests and press the “skip everthing my main already did all this thanks” button. And PUFF. Ready to rock and roll.
Dont know where all this drama comes from.

I never get tired of Azure Span. I love it to bits.

i once made a thread like this.
i understand that dragon flight is the main theme, but surly somewhere down the line they could at least open doors to expansion leveling. they are fully aware that we are alt slayers.

Right? And the walrus people village. I wish I could cut it away from the Dragon Isles and push it to the next expansion island.

I kind of agree. I really wish Chromietime would go with TWW up to max level. The developers already said they give us delves because way to much we have nothing to do anymore in the open world with gear and not having chromie time for max level is one of those overseeings.
I mean why do we have scaleable content for every level when we can actually not play anymore with it on max level?
Would it REALLY be such a problem if we decide instead of playing in actual expansion to catch up with previous quests?
I think it is a design error when for chromie time we would need to wait two expansions just to use CT like we want too.
I got almost everything (one of each class - just warrior and DK haven’t quite made it) to 70 early in the expansion before I got too bored of the main zones.
The thought of levelling at this stage wouldn’t fill me with enthusiasm.

I agree OP. I rather pay for the 70 boost than going thru leveling again in DF.

Wait, you are doing class halls while leveling??
Teach me your superpower, old man.
Also df leveling is super fast, spamming wqs and dungeons will net you so much exp you’ll get 70 super quickly, and right now artifacts are just weapons with extra steps, which power you raise by inserting stones
TW is sadly the only way atm we can avoid it , unless you want to mine/herb to max level.

I havent leveled in months and when i did i went in to TW dungeons because the very thought of having that horrendous scaling thrown at me in the outside world getting worse for every level you gain instantly makes me wanna puke. Is the scaling just as horrible as before in the 63ish-70 levels?
I thought it’s fun. But I like leveling anyways, and I generally like Dragonflight
I love ohnaran plains, but I agree, I spent enough time there already and would like to level 60-70 in legacy content
