it’s pure misery. Everything takes forever to kill. I just wanna be a tank, I feel like I have to level in Ret and scrounge gear for tanking later on? Is that actually the way?
Prot paladins level by aoe grinding several mobs at once. Takes you just as long to kill 4 as it does 1. That said, you’ll need to get through the first half of Hellfire before you have the gear for it(assuming your not in t3)
Fail that, dungeon grind as a tank or just throw on a 2hander. It’s surprisingly strong playing protwith a 2h

Easy run dungeons until honored for every faction. You get rep until 5999 friendly and can quest later for either xp/rep or gold/rep on green mobs.
Depending on your realm you could buy stuff from the AH.
Yeah I’m in scrubby gear - its rough. I wont die, but goodness it takes so long to get a kill and then the kills dont always drop the quest item so I’m still trying to get cursed talismans from one of the intro quests because the mobs take too long to kill and urgh haha…
