Hoping this is the right place to post this.
In short: I’m looking for an addon that allows me to manually hide achievements or items from my collections UI, with the shown totals (‘progress’ or completion bar included) reflecting the changes.
Longer version: a single mechanic that serves the purpose of cleaning up the achievement and collection interfaces to only show what the player is interested in going after. It’s really just a a little QoL feature. Specific examples: I’m not really into PvP so I’d like to hide numerous achievements, meta-achievements in that category. For collections, I’d also like to hide PvP related rewards such as appearances from counting towards the total number of appearances one can acquire. Same would go for, in my case at least, also trading card game items, BMAH items costing a fortune, etc.
Suppose this is also the only way that most players will ever be able to get 100% on achievements and/or any part of the collections interface - by deciding what’s part of the 100%.
The pet journal only shows total owned and I know that Mount Journal Enhanced covers that part as well with the total count “obeying” filters and the ability to hide mounts from the count although you can still search for them. The addon Better Wardrobe doesn’t seem to have the same effect on appearances. I also don’t know of any addon that can do this for the heirloom collection.
Adding: Toy Box Enhanced seems to work in a similar fashion to the Mount Journal addon.
Well that’s probably all TMI. If it doesn’t exist maybe someone is super bored and wants to make it.
