People didn’t want to tank in Classic either and they could tank that in fury DPS spec, so no respeccing required.
Use whatever justification you want, the bottom line is that tanking isn’t a popular role and most people don’t want to do it whether it’s convenient or not.
What are you even talking about? Dual Spec is a quality of life feature that gives players the option to have some flexibility without having to pay endless fees again and again. It allows spec diversity to be present.
Missing healers and tanks will be way less of a problem since DPS classes actually can do these roles now too without unnecessary effort.
The reason why retail is trash is definitely not the option to have a second spec that can be switched too, that doesn’t even make sense in any way.
LFR and heavy casualization is the issue in retail, but not some simple QOL feature.
Could but why would they, why not go for a aoe spec and a single target spec? makes grinding go way faster for them if they have both of those specs, the people who dont want to tank or heal wont no matter if they can do it “cheaper” or not, only reason why it kind of worked in wotlk was becouse heroics were super easy.
People need one thing: learn to play their toon fully. A dps warrior should never complain to not find a tank for a dungeon.
Most of tank classes can tank without being 100% tank. Or heal without being 100% spec healer.
It’s not retail you don’t lose 90% of your capacity of tanking/healing with a dps spec (and lot of talent in dps tree are actually very nice for tanking/healing).
Yea i said that to the group, blizz screwed up the loot tables and should have stuff for everyone in the dungeons (specially gems). I dont need the loot either i am trying to cap out consortium. Now i will get that done and then leave TBCC and WoW and never return.
I left Retail when BFA was about to launch and havent been back, and i will not go back either.
I guess it has to end somewhere.
