Hello fellow Role Players.
It is my passion and love to run TTRPG campaigns set on Azeroth - been doing that for last 6 years and I have no desire to stop. I’ve started with DnD, moved on to a different system called Genesys. Where am I going with all of this? I am starting a new campaign and gathering players for it - and as is my tradition, it is set on Azeroth hence I reckon it may be interesting to someone here.
Few technical details.
Looking For: 4 to 5 Players
When: 2025-01-17T18:00:00Z with sessions running for three and half hour.
System: Genesys - a narrative oriented system that I am converting to fit the setting.
Where: Game will be played on FoundryVTT with Discord for Voice chat. Both of which are free on player side of things.
The one remaining question - What - requires a bit of a longer explanation.
The idea behind the campaign is to tell a story of heroes in the making, young and possibly naive souls who travel to join Algeth’ar Academy to sharpen their skills, meet new people and try their luck with adventuring for the first time. Theme wise I am aiming for a mostly lighthearted story as befit younger generation of future heroes rather than grizzled veterans burdened by age.
Expect having to balance general tomfoolery, going out of the academy walls to earn some cash, field exercises… and studying for exams. You do not want to fall behind on the latter one for the professors are truly draconian.
