Blizzard is teaching us the correct behavior and standard rolling rules in LFR:
Always roll “Need” whenever you can.
Only roll “Greed” when you can’t “Need”
Accidentally roll “Pass” when you misclick, hand shakes or mouse slips.
Thus, we need a Roll UI update:
“Need” button should be at least twice as big as “Greed” button, to avoid human error. Imagine someone pressed “Greed” when he can “Need”… lmao, rookie mistake…
“Pass” button should be removed. It serves no purpose besides creating possible misclick. “Need” on transmog or gold is as valid as needing gear upgrade.
That is indeed stupid. But human error (misclick) does occur when several loots popping up after every boss kill.
There should be a system that automatically roll “need” for you, on whatever gear you can need, to avoid this human error. Oh wait, that was exactly what Personal loot does.
If I can’t need something then I pass on it.
Greed doesn’t come into it coz I’m too worried I’ll panic and press it by mistake…much better to pretend it doesn’t exist!
PL automatically “need” for you, on any gear for your “current loot spec”.
PL automatically “pass” for you, on any gear not for your class or current loot spec.
In PL, we never get gear that is not for current loot spec. A tank loot spec will not get healer trinket, and a plate wearer will never get cloth loot. It essentially removed “Greed” option.
Not at all thats not what personal loot did lol, if you want a fool prove easy loot system just give everyone a token when someone kills a boss and let them buy gear. But thats not rlly fool proof either.
