most of the time i join LFR and morons in the game barely have the intelligent capacity to wait just a few seconds before having a full group thats literally in the dungeon.
so i ask you the common folk if people who enter the dungeon after the boss gets killed get the rights to the loot or not.
because im suppose to wait 20+ min standing there like a moron, getting zero information about what is going on inside the dungeon while my LFR group decided to pull something when i cant even get into the f dungeon.
really weird on how this blank slate still exists to this day where there is zero accountability towards this behavior other than to leave the group out of sheer frustration because you dont know if you are entitled to get loot or not.
You only get loot on from the bosses you were actually present in LFR for. Some wings you join will be at the start and others will already have a boss killed. When you requeue for the same wing the system will try to prioritise you getting into a fresh group.

The game has always required you to be present when a boss is killed to get a chance at loot from it. If it didn’t then no one would do dungeons or anything, they’d just sit and let others do all the work and within a week no one would be playing instanced content at all.
The nature of the beast that is instanced content is that you are supposed to be in the group when a boss dies. Unfortunately, you may be locked out, but it stops people from taking advantage of others by letting them do the work for them while they sit outside with their feet up watching youtube.

If you’re in the instance but locked out the boss room you will get to roll.
If you are unable to teleport in because the encounter is in progress then you will get no loot.
