Just an idea: Many ppl complain about LFR: why dont transform it in a single player experience like the scenarios? With open world prizes.
So all the ppl would see the endgame without ruining the experience to the raiders.
Its really weird ppl like me that never have problems to have fun in this “content” never beat the bad one in the end.
I once suggested something similar. It would solve the problem of longe queues for casuals (with limited play time) and that old raids (of the same expansion) are more or less impossible to get a LFR grp for.
Let us farm appearances / have fun, gear isn’t even needed, Open Wolrd offers stuff with higher ilvl anyway.
in truth it wasnt mainly for this purpose but just to avoid ages for ppl like me to try to join a LFR for hours just to have the group disbanded 30000 times.
I dont know. I finish every LFR raid without a problem.
When it is about legion; look how many times i was able to do the full LFR on my legion main character?
Nighthold when i was raiding the most i had 29 kills of guldan in LFR. Even when i rerolled in bfa i still got every last boss kill on lfr except EP when i did not log in on that char at all. I do have EP on 2 other chars though.
i dont have to stay in queue and wait for 45 mins for a group. it would be faster (i die a lot but its a game and this is acceptable. i hate queues).
And this wouldnt exclude the possibility to run normal, HC,M raid.
I know there are times when the queue time is quite long. But i do not support the idea of playing with NPC’s. Or you would have to accept the NPC are making mistakes and are going to cause wipes too? i don’t know, raiding is a multi-player thing to me where you want to talk and adjust things after wipes. Or coordinate beforehand with markers. I am not seeing this with NPC’s.
How is running LFR excluding you from doing normal, heroic or mythic raiding?
feels bad you got dps critics and obnoxious ppl in there as if their attitude helps
i mean who criticises others damage in a lfr of all places
but we still should not get half runs only fresh runs
altho the wall one shots were funny
I haven’t done it since Legion but I do see a place in the game for it. Many players can’t / won’t do “real” raiding and LFR gives them a way to see the story.
For me the Queue times are too long and (in Legion certainly, can’t comment on those since) they were too maze like. The number of times I got lost in Nighthold trying to follow the crowd up stairs in some tower or trying to find a portal or some such.
If there was a solo version so I could learn my way around or simply just see the story that would be great for me.
So after getting lost I’d usually just leave and re-queue. This wouldn’t be so bad if queues were five minutes but they’re not, they’re more like 45 minutes.
Not sure if they could do a Warlock-type teleport at the start of each boss fight. I know there’d be loads of lazy people abusing the system and waiting for this but I’m sure they could add something to the trash to entice people to kill the trash.
The problem is not that the LFR is a group experience.
It is that it is the pinnacle of group experiences that can be by solo queue.
I would had liked the option of a normal version without determination.
we need flex raids
with no rng loot dropping 100% and fun
atleast i think flex siege of orgrimmar had to be queueable via LFR
and to make lfr queues fresh runs and no rng on tier tokens either
i hate getting half run+last boss not dropping anything but anima world boss included
that plate helmet is good upgrade
Lfr is literally only for experiencing the story, be awesome if they made it a little more meaningful.
Imo they should make it raid scenario and instruct you what you should be doing on mechanics, give a lot of people confidence to move onto actual raiding.
