in certain aspects if the vibe is right… i can be hardcore about them but they are usually aspects of games other would consider to be “casual”
those aspects have been largely missing in WoW since the launch of bfa. maybe before then honestly.
and yet its designed for >50% performance bracket players in 215 gear (lfr gear) which is absurd …(talking about wing 3 and 4…)
Dont know what did you except from lfr since its a thing in the game.
Ever since if the fight is more than tank and spank, raid go full mongo since the team contain people like:
- Afkers
- Dont give a s. about tactics.
- Beign toxic and irritating.
- Dont know how to play with the spec (how to dispell/interrupt or do normal dmg/heal).

SoD is a hard and boring raid even for causals on LFR. Causal players simply and rightfully didn’t like it and as a result they can’t play it, unlike Castle… SL season 2 is even worst than BfA.

SoD LFR is a joke. God forbid people have to put in minimal effort if they dont want to rely on determination stacks.
The problem lies with the people wanting to AFK. Not the encounters.

While i partially agree with you i also disagree on some points for example most people don’t wanna afk the LFR they are just not skilled enough and the SL raids are hard as it is maybe not for you but for many others it is because hardcore players like you aren’t the only ones playing.
It took me 1 month to learn Castle Nathria when it was current content.
And this new raid is gonna take me longer to learn mechanics are too difficult (again maybe not for you but for me they are).

Back when seige of Org raid was current, (in Lfr) I had macros for each boss reminding people about key mechanics throughout the fights… it always went smooth, and I was thanked afterwards.
Maybe worth a try?

Its as overtuned as whole RAID is. Blizzard dont care anymore since 80 %of players left gamę anyway do they dont have to tune IT properly anymore

mainly this, since the LFRs are released in pieces in subsequent weeks, for who is interested in raids I think this is a waste of time.
My humble opinion is for those who want to learn and then progress, the entry point is the Normal with an organized group

Just did LFR for the first time since early season this morning. Three characters all did Sylvanas. I went in for the gem drop as they are ‘done’ now for gear (full set of 233 Korthia+262 lego and 239 gloves - vendor - ilvl 235). They are island/Mechagon/Legion Raid alts.
Never been a massive fan of this boss fight (only done it a couple of times on Normal and once on Heroic) it takes far too long.
However all three cleared first time with no determination stacks in the group, which was a massive surprise. I would caveat that with all three groups having at least one tank over 242 ilvl which makes a massive difference. Not sure why 240+ are in there (embers/gems? ) but they were very welcome.

congratulations you are horde with +20ilvl on avg higher per alliance characters
also there were 233+ ilvl boosters in the raid(such as you)
I’m a booster!!! I have reached the summit. 
Seriously 235 is nothing I have 3 alts who have never been in M+ and real raid that are now 235. It is not hard to get to.
There are always boosters in the group. I have done the last 6 resets it on my new mistweaver (to get the shards), where i started on LFR entry ilvl. I have even been top heal in it on ~205 ilvl without a legendary and 40 renown and still it was a 1 shot.

LFR minimum ilvl is like 195…please…having 2 ppl at 230 means a boost
That is really, really strange logic. My alts that dinged yesterday are 210 ilvl. Anyone the plays the game now is 210+ in minutes unless they are literally brand new to the game.

Possibly, but my points stands you have to try very hard not to be 210 ilvl at this stage of the patch (unless you are new or literally play an hour a week.)
go make 195 alt on alliance and go lfr and tell me again
Why would I play Alliance and even if I did it wouldn’t be 195, Korthia tokens are account bound.
