I’ve done this a boss a few times on alts, and it’s pretty amazing how simplified this boss fight is compared to what those of us have experience in normal & heroic.
I kind of wished (in my opinion), that the boss still had the same mechanics as normal, so people can learn about bomb placement, moving to the platforms to be knocked up, portal placement etc.
Just so when they do get into a normal raid, they don’t end up wiping the raid mulitple times, get kicked out of the raid and then complain.
At least Silken Court made people do the web mechanic!
Oh god I forgot about that, I think I killed off those braincells that held those memories! I guess that could have been why they made Queen Ansurek so simple that even my 5 year old could do it.
When i did the fight on lfr and saw 1 add and it was killed in a weird spot my brain went “WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE” was rather shocked when it just splits the raid in half and sends us on our way.
I think I managed to kill it twice while in a lfr group across all my characters at the time. The other 2 were just so much more easier to deal with, Amirdrassil was really straighforward and Sarkareth while had quite a bit going on was more forgiving in terms if you fail some mechanics.
LFR being easy is fine. Its there for people who want to see the raids for the story. If lfr should be harder then all the afkers and leechers should be dealt with first.
Nobody wants to be in lfr for 3 hours because tanks and healers keep leaving like on notoriously annoying bosses like g’huun
They should be easy. Bosses that require a lot of coordination in LFR are a nightmare. Raz was terrible and so was NZoth. Nobody wants to spend hours wiping and people constantly leaving so you’re stuck in a loop of explaining the tactics.
Also, I’ve already cleared Heroic, will be trying to do a Mythic, when I get more gear
I agree, they should easy, but not easy to the point that I’ve noticed on Ansurek. Maybe I’ve spent far too much time when doing Normal & Heroic Queen Ansurek to just go, “really, you just stand there and do nothing?”.
Which genius honestly thought it was a good idea to have the insanity mechanic along with priority adds, linked players, and a portal with a mini-boss that needed to be kited while avoiding swirlies? And let’s not forget half the raid getting gift after running in the wrong direction on the first grip.
hehe, people just couldn’t CC the ghost things and kill at the correct number of stacks. XD
Very fond memories of doing HC CN with my old guild.
