Unfortunately this stat can be a bit hard to determine in many cases. One of the only times this has ever been compiled accurately is MMO Champ back during MoP. I don’t think they’ve done a more recent one (but I could be wrong).
2.5 million accounts were discovered and checked, which gave:
63% of players had completed at least one LFR boss.
33.4% of players had completed at least one Normal boss.
19.3% of players had completed at least one Heroic boss.
7% of players had completed at least one Mythic boss.
So it isn’t a perfect stat, but it’s a good, rough idea.
for both of you ‘‘raiders’’ here is some facts. as time goes on and less people raid, the stats for ‘‘normal raid’’ and ‘‘heroic raid’’ are worse. so LFR is very important .
This “Raider” didn’t do anything xept LFR on alts the last 2 months .
This bieing said…
LFR for alot of players is for 3 things.
Experiencing the raid as a “casual” or player that doesn’t have the time to raid static weekly hrs, these players are super random in attendance about weekly LFR clears.
Viewing the storyline components inside LFR, these players only do it once, maybe twice max.
Reaping some raid rewards early to progress NM/HC eassier, these players stop doing LFR after 2-3 weeks. (Prime example S3+4 for Tier set)
(Maybe) 4. Collecting Transmogs
So…
LFR pops off early 3-4 maybe 5 weeks, then it slows down into it’s current state. Every xpack. Ever.
Also, wednesday is DF Pre-Patch.
Nobody is even online atm… If they are they’re farming mounts/achievements.
The stat drops you linked are even worse for LFR fyi.
HC/Mythic raiders raid MORE and more repeatadly because off progress.
Their hrs are usually tripled that off only-LFR players.
I don’t know either but I think that professional game designers should have a clue. Not that I would personally call this one a big issue but the fault is ultimately always on Blizzard. They are the ones who control incentives and not the players.
Well ideally the content would be fun on it’s own, rather than “get it over with for the reward”, but sure they could recolor some existing mount and then connect it to a “kill X bosses in LFR” quest.
That would probably temporarily revive LFR. Not sure it is worth their time though?
But that again only revives LFR for a couple of weeks.
“Problem” stays, it is temporary content.
Doesn’t matter what you change.
LFR is simply not worth time to sink in. Doesn’t matter what rewards.
Imo LFR shouldn’t even exist.
Put the storyline outside off the raid and done.
with LFR ive built some nice mog. introducing the dinar system they rivitalized LFR for some month. Ofc after some time this become boring… like all the content…
Exactly.
The OP is just half a year late to the “content”.
Blizz tried and succesfully did revive LFR for about 6-8 weeks, wich is ALOT LONGER then it usually lasts!
