Sure you can. Have you ever gone into an LFR where everyone goes AFK and the boss just yells “YEAH I DON’T WANT TO BE HERE EITHER TO BE HONEST” and just throws down a huge loot box for everyone to ransack while the boss presumably goes off to the cocktail bar in Ny’alotha…?
No? Me neither. N’Zoth particularly enjoyed that one.
Any person i’ve seen deliberately going AFK in pretty much every single LFR I’ve been in gets kicked after a few minutes. And If you are deliberately going into an LFR and going AFK… well. You are just showing a breathtaking level of disrespect to your fellow players.
m8 i was rocking blue wep four months into the tier and my wrathion questline rewards were rotting in the bank. I ran LFR like 10 or 11 weeks in a row hoping to get that stupid taoern the soul burner XD Soul burner is right, i never had such a bad luck streak ever again.
Also, BM hunter. That’s why i wasn’t even that far away from actual players playing the game. Pet auto attacks are like 30-40% of all dmg.
And this was in freaking 2012. I hadn’t had to do any LFR past patch 5.3. LFR was still somewhat new feature and blizzard was still figuring out the implementation, timing and reward structure.
Because this game wasn’t designed to have a group finder for its raid content.
And when you add one anyways, it results in people who click the spells instead of using keyboard and have zero clue about any type of mechanic, to be placed with people who know the mechanic. Resulting in a lot of wipes and annoyances. So then the newbies leave because they consider it too hard, and the ones who know what they’re doing won’t join either, because they consider it a waste of time.
And combine that with the very low level item drop which you can get better stuff out of world quests, there’s just no point in doing them.
I cannot really understand why so many of you post something of the sorts “Because it’s not fun” or “Because the fights are boring” or something.
We all know there is exactly ONE answer: No rewards.
Think back to Legion where running LFR would up your legendary drop chance. EVERYBODY was running LFR.
This issue is not specific to LFR. Raiding in BFA is just one giant waste of time, unless you do mythic. The way the rewards are setup in BFA simply leaves no room for any other raid difficulty to exist. No matter what kind of player you are, you can ALWAYS get better gear from M+ compared to any raid difficulty. That’s just the truth.
While some raid items may be slightly better optimised than Items from other sources, this is eaten away by the much higher ilvl available from M+…unless you are raiding mythic.
Now, i could come up with some graphical, negative language about my oppinion on removing all raid content from this game except for mythic…but guess what? I won’t! I’ll leave it to your imagination! Just watch an episode of AVGN if you cannot come up with something appropriate yourself!
