Why nobody plays LFR like before in Cataclysm?
Because it rewards nothing.
Literally what does a semi geared person get out of doing LFR?
Thats why I miss tier sets and strong raid trinkets like we saw in HFC.
- It doesn’t reward you a thing if you are over 450.
- As you have stated, it takes time to get invited.
- Barely anyone plays. It takes 20 mins to get invited to a battleground on a busy day.
- N’zoth is still a dealbreaker for groups who do not know the mechanics.
- There are much better ways to gear alts and most of them include farming as much echos as you can.

I’ve just killed N’ zoth because i had a quest to kill him, i’m not interested in further raiding even on LFR, there is a possibility there are other people like me, and why? because N’ zoth alone without Carapace, just N’ zoth took 1,5 hour to kill because people were shuffling, 5 left after wipe so new 5 came and all tactic needed to be explained again. LFR this tier is punished as m+, some lowbie will forget to click button in the center to gain sanity and raid is dead.
LFR is dead content, just move on. I have.
Find a guild or a good PUG and clear normal/HC, you don’t need LFR

yeah, I hoped in SL again better LFR. If we get better rewards for all raids.
Also cross factions alliance and horde same run in raid.
I noticed MOP was best fast queue LFR. Reason they do clock legendary…
Since I don’t want use guild. I’m very casual player.

Absolutly not. LFR should stay way it is now. Its there for people so experience content and it should never be used for gearing. And there should never be any initiative to do LFR.

I agree. In MOP LFR was still useful. Me and my guild would still find the odd piece of gear to helps us with our normal raiding.

Well, in WoD they agreed with Elias the Whiner, since they made it utterly useless. It was harder to do a normal dungeon in WoD than it was to do LFR, and the gear was meh.
I given up on completion of tmogs ,so i will wait for those instances to become solo-able in future.
Luckily? Blizzard only recognized that LFR isnt fun to do and most people just wanted to be done with it and get their free gear. So they finaly deinitiative it and made progression in the world content more rewarding. And this is not changing for Shadowlands. Tier sets will prolong LFR relevance but only for couple of weeks.

Except HFC had a very different loot table in LFR. You picked a really bad tier to make this comparision.
WOD had LFR-only “tier sets”. I use quotes because these were nothing like actual tier sets. +115 agility is what you had, meanwhile normal and up had instant cast aimed shot for example. Or three charges of Wings for ret pally.
LFR is really not worth doing atm and I’m fine with it. They can’t flat out remove LFR as that would cause whiner storm to commence. But they surely did boosted other sources of gear to a point where LFR is really a waste of time and it’s pretty much “soft removed” at this point.

Eh, we can check who afk in LFR and we kick them before pull boss.
i used to be afk in lfr in mop, but hunters have lots of passive auto attack dmg anyways, so i wasn’t even that far off top dps spot XD
i had a major bad luck streak, it was 5.0 and needed lei shi weapon. Ran HC and normal, no luck. Had to run LFR as even that was better than crap blue dungeon wep i had. Yep i had blue wep at 11/16 hc progress.
Gotta love current system where raiding mythic level content has no way in hell to need LFR for anything.

If only ppl did that i migth even find some enjoyable. Most of the time they dont bother to even read chat, so if they dont kick afk dps I afk as tank, and at least i have a laugth. Still, what they should do is to make LFR much easier and faster and only reward gear. That way ppl that have the chat removed and cant bother to click on an icon can do it and see the story. And the rest of us can only touch it with alts.
