LFR Queue Times are a joke

Blizzard I must question the queue times for LFR and the algorithm that’s used. Over the past two weeks I’ve experienced the worst queue times in my 15 years of playing WoW since queues were introduced in Wrath and LFR in Cata. I spent over 7 hours in a queue yesterday and didn’t see an LFR and gave up despite having all options selected. Today I spent over 2.5 hours waiting for an LFR with all options selected and once I finally got in the game lagged out. After a fast reboot I managed to get back in to see the rest of the group kill the first boss but I didn’t get credit for it.

This is plainly ridiculous and is insulting to believe that your customers have that much time to spend waiting for a queue. Sort the algorithm so that matches are made more quickly, or alternatively reduce the size of LFR entirely so it doesn’t require 25 players to trigger it, maybe at 15+ players or something. The bosses in LFR scale so it doesn’t really matter how many people are there after all.

Have you tried restarting your expectations?
Can you link logs to why you chose a Draenei?

On a more serious note, try opening a ticket with a GM and see maybe there’s something wrong somewhere. Couldn’t hurt I guess.

Also try without any addons, maybe there’s one pausing your queue?

What were you queing for? Older raids tend to get longer queues as there is little reason to do them so queues for them are probably pretty long or don’t happen at all. Might be faster to form/find group for normal/heroic versions of old raids using the premade group finder tool.

Some activities will also pause your queue (eg. I think being inside a scenario like the horrifici visions) and continue after the activity ends.

Offcourse lfr que is long when people simply sell runs for gold
