My lifetime honor is 350k kills why isn’t this recognized? I came back to the game after a few years and have to start from scratch?? No thanks
So technically the title is not Lifetime is it? Should be “Recent honor”

Well the honor you farmed before the system was implemented does not count towards it because, well, it happened before the system existed.
Not much they can do about that, since each honorable kill gives a different amount of honor, it’s impossible to calculate now how much you would’ve gotten.
I’ve got 500K+ HKs as well, had all of those kills plus all of the battlegrounds I’ve done before the system counted, I’d probably be three times my current Honor level now.
But it is what it is, I suppose.
TLDR: You did all of those kills before the system existed, so no, they don’t count towards it now.

Then why call it “lifetime honor”? Lifetime should mean the entire span of the game not just shadowlands. It means nothing

Where is it called that?
PVP is Seasonal…so Lifetime Honour is merely an odometer for the number of PVP kills since you started playing the game.
New Season means new rewards, hence the reset…Otherwise, you would simply be repeatedly acquiring new gear and mounts, etc with old Honour…and no requirement to actually do PVP, ever again.

Not really. It’s a poorly worded title and shouldn’t be used lightly. Call it something else then. I’m not saying Me want mount now dude, but if you’re going to use such wording it should mean something.
So every season it’s “Lifetime honor”? HAHA… It’s just lazy design. Also I feel like high honor kills should be rewarded and not just buy a logo on blizzard.com
as someone who has 350k+ kills I could not care less. Most of those kills are from vanilla - wotlk where people fell over in droves and gaining 5k kills a day was not impressive.
My main gripe is that it’s so very slow to increase Honor Levels now compared to Legion.

Actually up to WoD. And yes I used to go afk, come back and magically 10k kills!!! But you would know all about that these days being a hunter and all
Comp stomp is very easy honour and very quick just spam it when up or any brawl.
if you have the darkmoon faire guide in your bags you can loot the quest turn in items
from npc corpses same as vs regular people
but if the npc bot pile is near each other you might loot more than 1 item

Becouse people that got honor during legion did not pvp, they just farmed mage tower world quests.
Prestige system was far better than what we have now in my opinion. The number of honor levels one must grind in order to get all the achievements for it is insane.

Other ppl can see your HKs when they’re inspecting u.
It’s certainly naff when you’re pining for an artifact recolour only available at honor level 80 (I think), given the vastly different rates of level gains now compared to then.
All in all I actually like the Prestige system a lot on paper. Milestones like mounts and transmogs can be very rewarding, and these could in theory be gained at a player’s own pace. They aren’t seasonal or similarly limited, so what it boils down to is tuning the level gains to a less daunting state. Then, possibly, expand the rewards roster and level cap.
