The real question is what we’re you doing casting it before the prepatch. Lod has been less than an afterthought for me for 3 patches now
Tbh I really like that LoD aint used that often, for me Paladin should be a big time spot & tank healer not an AoE healer thats one of the problems in this game classes and specs has been driven towards being able to do everything.
Also Beacon of Virtue covers the AoE damage for party situations just fine and LoD is there if you need it.

Sorry I was under the impression that lod has been a filler spells pretty much since glimmer was introduced. It’s certainly something I only pressed after all my other important spells were on cd or I couldn’t hit the boss
Are you suggesting this isn’t the case ?
