Lightforged - Disc or Holy more aproriate?

Hello.

So if we count out everything than is something to do with what is best, better, more efficien, what you should play in certain place or style or whatever… So dont care about how good i am at all on this question.

If you are a Lightforged draenei priest, which would be more aproriate or likely for member of army of the light? Holy or Disc priest or does that even mamatter in lore perspective?

No.I will not be paladin.

Thanks.

Right now Holy, because Shadow Mend is just not what the Lightforged do. After DF goes live you can pick either, as long as you take only Light-based Disc talents like Light’s Wrath.

Per description: Discipline priests are a powerful force on the battlefield, balancing the powers of Light and Shadow to assail enemies and assist allies in equal measure.
Some priests pride themselves on pragmatism. They understand that light casts a shadow, that darkness is defined by light, and that true discipline stems from one’s ability to balance these opposing powers in services of a greater cause. While these priests possess many holy virtues to aid their allies, they also dabble in the dark arts to debilitate their enemies—always exercising immense discipline to keep themselves away from the brink of insanity.

Lightforged brainwashed and conditioned cult members of the Naaru would NEVER use Shadow/Void
So Holy

At this point, i also tend to lean a bit towards holy, but currently i am using disc just to try how it would work without the shadow. Back in Draenor times, i think that discipline would have been great for lightforged the way it could be played back then and the attonement and other sound effects also almost sounded like a song of Naaru, but it does not feel like that anymore for me and the description would also make me lean towards holy.

I apreciate your input

In DF it will be easy to be Discipline with “Light-build”
But on the other hand? Tho’ the Lightforged were indoctrinated in to Xe’ra’s cult, who conveniently forgot to mention, the Naaru have a Void cycle, the Lightmother is no more, she got obliterated after showing her fanatism and true colours.
Their goddess died in front of their eyes while showed the ugliest side of the Light
They are now “free” of Her and after what happened over argus on the Vindicaar? Many could have become bitter, disillusioned or shaken by what happened. Lost their faith or became darker or just pragmatic and the Void could have slither its way in to their heart and mind, and only the Discipline priest’s methods could help them find their place and inner peace

I would have to say Holy. A normal Draenei could be any of them, as WoD lore shows they have shadow priests. Lightforged won’t use shadow.

Yeah. This is what im gonna use now.

You know i would rather take Paladin and play as Holy or Prot, but aside from heritage armor, i cant get the looks i want for some parts of my story as i cant transmog anything else than pllate and i dont mean plate to something else, i mean i cant even wear cloth for RP purpose say, in chest and have it mogged the way i want. I cant even get the robe i would need, because its a quest reward and it is unavailable for anyone else but cloth users. I dislike these restrictions. Its not the first time i need to choose class that can wear the look i want to get.

Holy is the one that has a Naaru as their artifact weapon so I say go with that.

"Hey girl, what is that on your staff…? :eyes: "
“A dead Naaru… or at least whats remained of her”
