Considering that void elf warlocks don’t explode when casting spells then I’m sure lightforged draenei unholy death knights will be fine.

Players have always been able to make non canon choices that wont happen in the world. Such as Lightforged Shadowpriests.

And here they clearly tossed every allied race into the new DK group. Think about it, there would be a whinefest if Lightforged got left out.

LF dreanei, should never have been a separate race but instead be a customize option for dreanei like how the Nightelfs have currently…

I never have ever and still never will understand the whole lore thing with light and unholy, blah blah blah, for me it’s still a goat, and I had a good laugh watching the eye effects on the void elfs and the other skinny eating problem elf horde has, didn’t see a difference.

Becoming a DK comes with a change of perspective. Case in point, Darion has no qualms about using his DK powers despite being a Paladin in life.
LF Draenei will be no different. The Light will have failed to aid them in death and then forsake them altogether in undeath, and they will have no choice but to embrace their new DK powers.

Logically, they should get back to being just draenei instead of lightforged draenei.

DK-ification doesn’t come with free tattoo removal. Gotta pay extra for that, and the army of the light is cheap.

exactly the horde should never have had access to paladin the lore died in tbc then again all of wow has been some kind of fanfic i don’t remember seeing any alliance warlocks in the rts …

So “lore” has been dying since TBC, then croaked its last in BfA?
Stop putting the RTS games on a pedestal. Had Blizzard continued with WC4 instead of WoW, the lore would have kept changing and evolving as well.

If anything, it could be cool to roleplay as one. Something like being in constant pain because the essence of the holy light inside you is being surrounded by the death magic thats keeping you ‘alive’.

They will basically be like a depleted battery. No light left in there, their bodies are an empty shell of where Light used to be.

Like i said before…

I want to see the lore behind the allied races becoming a DK :

  • Random Nightborne : Hi
  • Bolvar ( ? ) : yo
  • Nightborne : I wanna become a Death Knight
  • Bolvar : i need to kill you, torment your soul and restore your soul into your former body but mold you into an instrument of death,suffering and destruction.
  • Nightborne : sounds good.
  • Bolvar : aight’ imma get on it.
