With the announcement of SoD I decided to get back to WoW and decided to play on the hardcore servers until the release. Everything is fine except for when I go to the borders of a zone.
Started in Camp Narache and when I went to the south mountains the enviroment started to flicker, same for when I went near the entrance of the zone with the Quillboars, but it stops flickering when I go inside. Same experience when going near the border mountains that separate Mulgore from Desolace and when I was near the zone change between Mulgore and The Barrens. In any other place I have no problems, only near the zone borders.
I have been looking solutions online for the past 2 days but all I see is problems with certain Nvidia driver version, my graphic card is Nvidia, but here is the problem, It seems it was a problem introduced in a specific update and the solution seemed to be going back to the past driver version, but my pc is a laptop, graphic Geforce 820m that already ended support around 2018 and tried older driver versions. I didn’t have problems playing in the release of Classic or currently in any other game or program. I have tried multiple ingame configurations and it didn’t change anything, even putting all at minimum.
The only solution to this problem that I can think of would be a new pc, but this is the only problem I have with this laptop and seeing that I didn’t have problems during early classic maybe there is an easy solution.
EDIT: Changing to the integrated graphic fixes the flickering, obviously it hits the performance but if there isn’t any fix for the flickering that’s something I would accept.
