this comp can beat any healer/dps duo no matter how hard you try, i play a mistweaver and at 2k rating i havent beaten this comp once. When I’m playing with a warrior, i get sapped, they open on warrior, warrior trinkets, pops rallying and dbts, sometimes even disarms rogue, and still I am forced to trinket the first sap cause he’d die through everything.
You know the rest, mage spam polys the warrior, rogue resets freely or just with 1 charge of vanish, and they go again 10 sec later, now without any of our cds ready. That is if they dont kill in first go. If they have at least some reflexes, the mage will just DB me and the warrior is dead cause I trinketted after his trinket when he’s already 10% hp. If the mage doesnt DB me, the rogue just duels the warrior and finishes him. If he doesnt duel, he just step-gouges me. Theres so many options they have, and I have none. I just used everything for nothing. Great design guys, I hate this game more and more every arena I que. Next topic is gonna be about resto druids. The next one about BM hunters. And the next about DH.
Are you for real? Have you seen Mage 2v2 representation? Should give you and indication of how strong the comp is.
rm is almost nonexistent in df but the ones i see i beat playing sv/rdruid or arms/rsham.
i dunno what comp you should play on mw, maybe some mm. dont know nor think mw is very hot 2s spec.
Tell your warrior to bladestorm on sap? On your rating 100% of rogues insta open on you the moment they sapped. In bladestorm he can reflect + parry and after bs still disarm or stun the rogue. Not saying rogue/mage isn’t busted but that’s currently mainly because of the rogue.
Please. Mage Rogue is one of the strongest 2v2 comps there is.
before that nerf ww dmg like 20% flat on everything, ty
It’s beatable, but isn’t fun to play against. Both classes are severely broken. But it is free win for some healer/dps combos like Demo Warlock/X or BM hunter/X or most Resto Shaman comps
Your warrior needs to press Bladestorm the moment you get sapped so they cant stun him, he can follow up with a Die by the Sword at max or high hp or a War banner to deny some CC. In case it’s a better-coordinated Rogue Mage, they will Dragon Breath the warrior the moment you get sapped so he can’t do it. The mage can only do that from stealth which means staying mounted will make it harder for the walking mage in invis to do it to your warrior
For the 2nd go you need to put your port at a good spot so you can teleport when you get cheap shotted so you can avoid the polymorph. If you can’t, use Restoral while in the stun to immune the polymorph. If all else fails, trinket on the 2nd go for your warrior then be ready to port the 3rd go in case they go to kill you
For the 3rd go if it’s on your Warrior he can trinket or try to pre-bladestorm it again
If there’s more go-s and you haven’t killed anything by now, and have nothing left, try to stall for time till you have something, try to pre-disarm rogue, incap mage etc, whatever you have left
Warrior Mistweaver sucks for killing Rogue Mage, but is pretty sturdy at surviving it, if you played it well. Eventually your warrior will get some uptime and force cds
never losing against rm, i think u god a skill issue bro
God is great
Whether you win or lose against rogue/mage depends solely on them. You have to play perfectly and hope that they will make mistakes. If they are decent players who don’t make too many mistakes, then you have almost no chance, no matter how you play.
This is what happens when you give a class/spec absolutely everything, unlimited cc, mobility, all possible defensive and offensive tools, infinite reset possibilities, and on top of all that abnormal dmg.
were u the priest with a rogue i was facing today who broke all breakable cc? I’d love to see you face a rm.
