Seems with linking servers like on live is one solution?
That is precisely what they should do. It would also solve the horde-ally balance issues as they could handpick the best servers to match each other in their respective clusters.
Earlier they did not want to do it due to the “social aspect”, but now when people are already split onto 12 different layers and there are 30k players on your realm, there is no social aspect anyway. You’ll likely never meet the people again who you may do dungeons/quest with.
So, yes. Just do it.
No thanks. I want to feel a part a society. Linking is the worst thing ever happened to retail.
