That is probably a reflection of what all the teams have to invest.
Where would all the gold come from if boosting wasnāt a thing?
Itās actually a joke that the āarms raceā has got to this stage.
Sure Liquid escalated it by offering ridiculous amounts of money to people who can trade tier etc but the whole undertaking has gotten crazy.
People had to prep alts and do many many split runs ājust incaseā char x got luckier than their main and so on. Now theyāll have to do boost runs for months to pay off their debts. Itās a degenerate cycle that should be designed out of the game.
I know theres a school of thought that says āthey are consenting adults and can make their own decisionsā but at this stage I donāt think it benefits the game as a whole, it just shows how high the barrier to entry can be.
and still are ultimate loosers as they didnt even finish race only thrown towel .
also they didnt spend it - their simps paying them on twitch spend that money - they were just using that money
there is only 1 lesson from it - time to remove mythic raiding from game .
Yea, but no.
Oh, its Lilith in disguise, diff char, same stupid themes.
So when are we going to start calling a spade a spade and saying this is pay2win?
Not saying that Iād win against Liquid if I had $93k or anything, but having to spend that amount of money to be competitive in World of Warcraft is utterly outrageous. This is much, much worse than Raid: Shadow Legends. Come on!
How much of that gold came from Tokens?
But they didnāt spend that in cash, the OP is using the current token amount as a comparison.
Blizzard need to outlaw borrowing gold. This kind of action sets a bad example to the wider player base.
Which is entirely reasonable. As a matter of fact Iām nearly done with an addon that puts such a conversion in the tooltip for you, because the way that Blizzard has designed the game money==gold. There is an actual official exchange rate.
Who do they borrow this amount of gold from, anyway?
My guess, boosting companies.
but isnt limit walking proof that mythic raiding is causing people mental issues ?
im sure CSR company like microsoft which now own blizz would make sure that their game would not create mental issues - therefore mtyhic raiding should be removed entirely
unless Limit admits turht that this is just bs excuse
blizz needs to roll back on the changes that prevent people from gearing.
at this moment the killed the race, it no longer a race but a duel given only 2 guilds can currently compete like that. the rest doest even want to or can step on the tracks.
and most impactf goes on the actual players that dont really care about it but are still faced with these intrusive gear trade blocks by ilvl at least

there is only 1 lesson from it - time to remove mythic raiding from game .
so certain guilds decide to spendalot of gold to try and win the race to world first, who does that affect other then the top 1% and the people who theyre buying off. Theres no reason to change raid difficulties because of this

there is only 1 lesson from it - time to remove mythic raiding from game .
if I were to say ārogues are OP in arenas because fishing only lasts 20 seconds so the solution is to nerf fall damageā it still wouldnāt sound as dumb as the average analysis on this forum
At some point you have to imagine the IRS looking at all of this and going:
Thereās some fictional value to real value conversion thatās starting to get somewhat tangible, and the whole notion of WoW being just a game seems increasingly far from reality.
Iād say itās all getting out of hand, but thatās probably a redundant comment at this point in time.
Since the top 1% are paid to play the game how about a rule that states no sponsored guild/player are allowed to participate in Race to World First?

Since the top 1% are paid to play the game
its not even the top 1%, top 1% are mythic raiders, the bigger issue is visible only for a small handfull of guilds, the others are gearing mythic ācasualyā
723m but keep in mind it is 20 players min around that
so it is 35 M per person
