Hello community,
It’s been a few years now that some achievements in the game that are no longer obtainable AND giving points are still in play.
I’m part of a big community of more than 1700 french players (Insanity) who are looking for all the points in the game. However it is not possible because these achievements are still and always present and not passed in Feats of Strength.
We made dozens and dozens of requests in game, with each time answers that we are sorry like, go see Wowhead, contact the bug service or answers that shows the disinterestedness for this aspect of the game that we care about.
We had for the first time a GM named Sytphlan who made it clear that they had no power to fix these problems and that WE, the players, had to report the information to the developers via the forums or even Twitter. And here we are 
Being myself a developer I know that making a fix of this kind is largely possible within a short time by a junior developer to be implemented in game.

The answer is obvious, to give people e-peen.
Thank you for this message, indeed it’s been a long time that these achievements are available in the game but not obtainable. Being a great collector of achievements, I do not think this is right that in so many years this problem is not solved.
Please, consider a little more the lovers of your game! 
Hopefully the problem will be fixed soon <3

I hope this topic will be transferred to the US Forum too. it can concern people.
As a collector of achievements, collections, pets… it’s annoying that these Achievements are still counted knowing that they are no longer feasible !
Thanks to do something, it’s been dragging since the start of BFA expension.

I totally agree with that.
I spend most of my playing time collecting and getting achievements and it’s really frustrating to think some of them will never be available to me.
Please hear us …
This reminds me of the transmog talk about unavailable items being available for others who put in the work to get them when they were available.
This is what you should have done, gotten them when they were available, I don’t think using OCD reasons as an excuse is valid.

We talk about Achievements that earn points where players compare themselves, since LK when a Achievement becomes impossible to validate it is placed in FoS or Legacy.
We know very well that it is a bug or an oversight of the developer because we see them well in the categories where we are supposed to be able to validate everything unlike the unavailable which do not appear.

Placing something in the Legacy or FoS is not always the best thing to do. It has nothing to do with validation. The achievement itself is the validation that it was done.
I don’t think it’s a bug or an oversight, if you want something changed the only thing you can do is put in a suggestion ingame for a change. They will not reply to it, just as you will get no reply from the Devs about this thread.
One more thing, remove the French, this is an English only forum.

They are removed for a reason, it is intended. For example ‘Fighting with Style: Upgraded’ requires you to have done the mage tower. The Mage Tower was very well publicised time limited content. Anything that has a season tag is limited time content. You can not travel back in time.

Thecnically they are not removed, because those achievements listed (or at least some) are not in Legacy nor FOS section. Every achievement that is not Legacy nor FOS should be obtainable, if is removed then it should move it to Legacy or FOS, to keep normal achievement as the list of things you could currently achieve in the game.

So essentially you want all those achievements moved to FoS or Legacy and then you’ll be content?
They are not going to bring any of them back. They were seasonal or time limited in another way.
Exactly, we don’t want to be able to do them but to put them in categories that don’t award points.

I only talk for myself, I can’t talk for the OP nor anyone else on the topic, but in my case, I would be content if just they move those to FoS or Legacy. After all, is was the did with other seasonal achievements when they are no longer available, the fact that those were not moved seems more like an oversight to me. If Blizzard removes things at least they should do it right, so removed uncollected pets, mounts or achievements should not be visible the in UI, only those who collected those things should see it, showing an uncollected thing that can’t be collected serve no purpose.

On a more serious tone I do agree with the idea that unobtainable achievements should be moved to the categories that were made to host limited time achievements.
Yes, we don’t want the achievements ! We just want them moved to a category where it doesn’t earn points because they are no longer available !
