(MOSTLY PVP BASED THREAD)
As an active member of the warrior club for ~8-9 years, I have to say we’ve hit an all-time low.
You might ask yourself why, we’ve just had spell reflection, intervene AND shattering throw re-implemented baseline, so why is warrior all of a sudden even worse this patch.
First of all, and this is one of the more obvious things, the mastery. At the moment - with the current edoration of the warrior mastery - it is quite frankly impossible to hardswap to an enemy player. This is simply because, in order for you to do damage, you need to have deep wounds on the target before the swap. There is a few workarounds for this, but in all honesty, I think the mastery needs a total re-vamp. Keep Deep wounds, but make it a bleed that deals % based amount off of the damage MS deals, just like it used to be
Furthermore, we might’ve gotten spell reflection, intervene and shattering throw added, but a lot of other classes have gotten some crazy abilities back. An example of this, is retribution paladins getting Sac. The abilities we’ve gotten added, are simply outweighed by the abilities other classes have gotten.
Give warriors storm bolt baseline (For the love of god, why the heck has this not been done already), and give us the ability to pick between charge based talents, just like we had in WOD.
Give us SOME sort of self-heal, any sort of self-heal that we can use reliably in PvP. At the moment, warrior is one of the squishiest classes, if not THE squishiest class in the game, even though we’re supposed to be a disruptive juggernaut type class.
The issues with arms in specific are glaring and it surprises me that the devs just can’t get this spec right. There’s so many things that obviously has to be done, but it’s not hard to figure out how to make the spec fun to play, while remaining powerful.

Rework the mastery into something that is colossus smash based, not a bleed.

Make Deep wounds a % that scales off of MS damage. If MS hits for 1000, the bleed hits for 300 over a 7 second duration. (30 % As an example)

Storm bolt BASELINE.

Remove this ignore pain BS they’ve got going on, and add some sort of self-heal. Blood-craze in it’s old form, second wind in it’s old form, anything.

If you’re going to give us shield block, at least make mortal strike usable with a 1H & shield or change it so that mortal strike turns into revenge when you activate shield block. Atm, shield block is simply not worth using, except for VERY specific cases.
The issues with fury is also glaring and it’s beyond me why furious slash was not re-implemented in this expansion. We got slam (kekw), which is completely useless in fury, but no furious slash.
