What is there for roleplayers in Tides of Vengeance? What do you think we want?
Heritage Armor is amazing. Is heritage weapons something you would ever consider? Many races have iconic currently-unavailable weapons. Such as the Nightborne.
Can we expect any class changes that make the classes more exciting and fun to play in foreseeable future?
Where is the promised rework of shamans enhancement?
The dislike count on your survival guide is showing quite obviously that players are unhappy, are you EVER planning to do something about it?
The reworks and changes of some classes that were coming in 8.1 currently feel like they could have been hotfixed. Are the fixes that are coming in 8.1 now instead bandaids for an upcoming bigger rework further down the line or can we expect to see changes again first in the expansion after BFA?
Are we going to get a new achievement that rewards a Vicious Saddle? (Like the ones we had in Legion for 40 RBG wins / 100 3v3 Arena wins). On a previous Blue post you said that you are working on new ways for player to earn those saddles in Tides of Vengance.
Why is it, despite all the promises and assurances of improvement to interaction with the community, it just deteriorates more each expac?
I will quote an example, as Lore is no doubt sat there in the Wingman chair.
LORE posted Feb 9 2017
"We’ve been working extremely hard to improve communication. I’m sorry that you’re not seeing all of it, so here’s a short off-the-top-of-my-head rundown of what we’ve done in just the past month:
- Increased Blizzard presence on the PTR forums at least 10-fold compared to 7.1.5
- Added the Class Development forum to discuss changes that aren’t necessarily tied to the PTR
- More than tripled the frequency of responses via @WarcraftDevs compared to the 7.1.5 timeframe
- Re-introduced the PTR Patch Notes
- Started posting PTR Development Notes to give insight into what each build is bringing
- Made significant changes to Community team structure, and formed a team dedicated entirely to developer communications (on the PTR and Class Development forums, that’s Kaivax and me)
- Revamped several of our internal feedback delivery processes to make sure that when you post something, the developers see it
- Significantly increased the rate of communication between our Community and development teams, so that CM’s can be much more informed on the changes to the game (and take on more of the burden of communication ourselves)
On the list to still do in the next month or so:
- Significantly increase CM presence on the forums, now that we’re more able to answer questions ourselves
- Begin posting more direct requests for feedback, as 7.2 development has begun to reach a state where we’re testing more than just stability (I’ll be posting a thread asking for 7.2 Artifact Trait feedback later today)
- Dramatically increase the rate of live developer Q&As as we get closer to 7.2 release (similar to what we did leading up to Legion launch)
- Explore new methods for communication, especially for complicated topics like Class Balance or often-overlooked topics like RP, both of which don’t fit well into a standard live Q&A
- Improve our internal knowledge tracking resources so that everyone posting in blue text is on the same page (this sounds a hell of a lot easier than it actually is at a company the size of Blizzard)
Again, I’m really sorry and disappointed that the work we’re doing isn’t always coming across to you. I’m confident that things will continue to improve, especially as we grow more accustomed to our new processes. A huge part of this is also identifying pain points - you’re absolutely right that there are several specs that deserve answers, and we haven’t been doing enough to say “yes, that’s an issue, we’ll talk about it” or “no, we disagree, for these reasons.”
I just wanted you to be aware that this is absolutely a priority for us, for the WoW development team, and for Blizzard as a whole. We’ve been working our butts off to make it happen. I’m sorry it hasn’t happened as quickly as all of us may have liked, or possibly in the way that everyone was expecting, but I do think we’ve improved fairly dramatically since 7.1.5, and we will continue to do so."
Will you ever openly talk to the community and genuinly answer thier questions, open heartedly and honestly.
What will you be doing to address player unrest and how will y ou do a better job talking to us.
What are your thoughts about making some of the current pvp talents such as Premonition for Discipline priest or Cyclone for r/f and b/druid baseline spells instead of optional pvp talents?
Kind regards
Fnoberz
Are you ever planning to go back to the rich depths the game had in the past or should we expect more shallow BfA type expansions?
Will we ever get more RPG elements like fully voice acted quests and better character customization (size of the character, eye colors, weight of the character, etc…)?
Is there a chance that we will see more old utility spells come back to the current expansion such as Spectral Guise, Symbiosis or Howl of terror to name a few.
(Subjective opinion) These types of spells ensures that there is outplay potential specifically in arena PvP and are genuinely making the PvP aspect of the game more fun and versatile.
Will we ever be able to transmog artifact weapons cross-spec?
And also, what about the old legendaries? You’ve already broken your own rule with the glaives and Demon Hunters, so it seems a little unfair to keep other classes’ legendaries locked out.
Are you planning on addressing the competitive arena drought any time soon? Group Finder has proven lacking at this point in WoW’s competitive history and a soloqueue system is needed now more than ever.
I’ve posted on one of these threads before and made it into the video.
They do read and pick the questions from here.
When will Warriors get Single-Minded Fury back?! I immediately quit my Belf Warrior when it went in Legion, and I saw how ridiculous she looked dual-wielding weapons bigger than her.
Is there any chance bringing back Conquest Points and Vendors, so People will be approximately full geared in a few weeks with PvP Gear (depends on rating) and the PvP Gear scales like in Warlords of Draenor? It feels bad having to do PvE Content in order to compete for PvP when it was in the past possible otherwise.
What is Thrall up to right now?
Do you consider to remove Cross Realm features and go back to fixed server community? Even a small set of non CRZ realms as a test would be nice.
