Why is WoW gradually moving towards being more of a single player game rather than an MMO? This includes the existence of LFR, removal of masterloot, excess amounts of meaningless gear and overscaled open world rewards.
I love you.
How long will be that new part of war campaign? I mean Legion introduced Suramar campaign released partialy in 9 next weeks. Meanwhile warcampaign looks like oneshot when something important is happening, don’t you think it’s better to split that quests like Suramar’s ones? Or it’s simply too short to cut to such small pieces?
Question about gearing. There’s almost a valor vendor in the game already, the currency is there, and he sells a piece of gear already. So why not expand a bit on service medals and instead of transmog cloak he could sell an actual cloak of ilvl 395? Or maybe a 395 trinket also, since trinkets are so hard to get, unless you’re extremely lucky from either a wq or Tortollan emissary. This could serve as a meaningful path of gearing progression that doesn’t include rng, just log in to do content that gives you service medals and eventually you get some upgrades. Wouldn’t be too bad if you added versa+mastery a ring there also, since haste+crit isn’t best stats for everyone.
You have talked about how you will use the best parts of past world content systems in 8.2 , which could be a great idea. Have you thought about doing this with other parts of the game, as forexample class design?
You have previously mentioned you don’t like the way leveling works right now. And the way you go from 110 to 120 just to get weaker was really disappointing. Do you have any plans on how to fix that in the future. If yes, will this affect 1-120 or just a new expansion (120-130 or what you come up with) ?
Any plans to reintroduce WotLK-style talents?
Levelling doesn’t feel rewarding anymore.
Classes are bland.
Gear feels really bland now. Any chance we could go back to old systems with lots of sockets, reforging and such? It made professions more engaging as well, jewelcrafting was super important, blacksmiths could make belt buckles etc. Now gear is just boring and unexciting.
I think one of the things that makes leveling so boring is that you get a talent every 15 levels. Could you create a more vanilla-cata style talent tree to work alongside the modern? So you get points in that old style tree for every level and every 15 level you get one of the new talents. I also miss being able to mix the different specs more together.
Are there any plans to further merge/group servers to reduce the amount of “dead” servers. Currently on my server (bronze/nordrassil), hardly any guild are recruiting and things rarely sell on the auction house, greatly reducing the enjoyability of the game, and making end-game contents much harder than needed.
@Anroka, Lindarielle: Seconded and thirded, this question really needs an answer. Likes added for emphasis.
Are there any plans for an island expedition rework? I think a Diablo 3 Greater-Rift Style expeditions with a few randomly chosen bosses (picked from a seasonal boss-pool) would be awesome 5-Man Content (especially for the mythic±Community) as it will add more depth to expeditions and remove the dread of knowing what bosses you will have to heal/tank when you do specific dungeons.
When will this expansion end?
When can we expect information about the merging or connection of the lowest populated realms?
What is being done about this problem? Any info about the progress towards tackling this issue?
Its killing the game for many folks.
PvP wise question, Legion was way better balanced, only character skill was important, why add so much variables in PvP, that bring more huge disbalance? Also hole with item level difference.
are we going to see thrall again or is it idle hope ?
Will you finally remove weapon-trading restrictions between 2h intellect + 2h agility? So it’s not impossible for Feral, SV and BrM to find weapons. An RPG game that discourages sharing, isnt great.
Now that Zandalari and Kul Tirans are only a patch away and available on PTR, are there any plans to announce the next allied races coming this expansion?
Some specs are lacking viable burst AOE (e.g. Affliction warlock). What will you do about it, especially now that the new m+ season favors even more AOE?
This game used to have 12 million subs during its peak.
What critical mistakes have been made in the game’s design that caused players to abandon ship?
Do you plan on undoing those mistakes?
Have you given up on the game and is WoW not a worthwhile investment anymore?
