I have a question Yannila, when you joined the group they wuold have asked you which spec you are joining as. What did you say to that, because it sounds to me like you joined as one then played another, which is why they asked you which spec you were playing. If you don’t get that then you are the worst Elitist snob I have ever seen.

I didn’t join any group. I refuse to play with people like that who don’t accept that someone can play whatever role the group needs. Never been a problem even when I sign for keys with seasonal affixes active, I just get invited as the role they want me as instead of them going on about main spec.
Good, then people don’t have to put up with you.

This wasn’t the problem. He asked a question regarding your main spec, and you said ‘‘Yes’’, which is a useless response. You could’ve just said ‘‘I can play whatever spec you need me to play.’’

Because if someone signs for all 3 roles, it means they can play them.
But that wasn’t the question.
Incidentally, since the actual answer to the question was that the OP has no main spec, a better answer would have been “no”

Fun fact: I sign to all groups as 3 roles and this is the first time someone asks this stupid question instead of inviting me as the role they want me to be and this in a key where the seasonal affix isn’t even active.
when you were asked “mainspec” you could have just answered “I play all 3 specs equally” and you would have avoided the awkward conversation and the outcome you’re unhappy with. Nothing was wrong with “Censor” - you were answering vaguely though

Well:
- my OS has slighty higher ilvl (because of azerite pieces I get is bad for ms).
- my all highest m+ key runs were made with OS
I would consider I can play equaly good with my MS (ele) and OS (resto).
As for 2nd OS (ench) - gear is a bit worse (only azerite pieces), I am also leveling brand new shaman in other server / faction just to learn enchantment (alt MS if you can call like that).
Awkward conversation? It was just a stupid question. It’s the first time I even encounter this and I sign for keys with the affix active where they don’t even message me but just invite me as the role they want me as. No questions asked. But this key with not even the seasonal affix active, they go asking a stupid question.
And if that’s the case then you can explain it to the leader unlike OP who refused to give him a proper answer.
If you are talking to me it’s a valid question, I now think you are trolling us to the extreme. You Joined as a certain spec, any leader who isn’t a moron would ask you what spec you want to join as. Saying I can play all of them is, well I can’t use those bad words here.
Obviously you joined as a specific spec, and that’s the one you play. I am not talking about you having a “main” spec but the one you agreed to go into the dungeon as.
I would bet money you weren’t in the spec you signed as.

I didn’t join the group in the first place. So, no. I was asked an extremely stupid question when I applied to join and decided against joining it because of how stupid the question is when someone applies to join with all 3 roles. Even in keys with the seasonal affix people don’t ask me what my “main spec” is, they just invite me as the role they want me to play. This key? It didn’t even have the seasonal affix but somehow “main spec” is oh so important? Nah, that’s just stupid.
