LMB/RMB not responding properly

Is anyone having issues regarding their mouse not responding to character navigation as well as camera navigation as it seems to snap back to default direction. It has affected both of my mouse buttons as I did everything to sort it out including Cache, Interface and WTF folders being cleaned, removing addons, disabling high DPI settings through compatibility settings in properties, disabling pointer precision and using the /console rawMouseEnable 1 command.

Nothing has worked as I tried everything, my second Naga Trinity did the same problem (as I had it as a replacement since the first Naga Trinity was faulty at the beginning) and now my Corsair M65 PRO RGB is doing the same thing which I never had issues with before as I set the polling rate to a minimum; still nothing has changed.

I hope anyone has a solution unless it’s a mouse problem instead of a WoW problem.

I do think it’s the game side why because despite having a brand new computer which was built by me in the last two weeks when I was playing there seemed to be a pause between keystrokes and my commands being acted on by my character the mounts had issues where they would not stop ascending if I hit the jump and I then had to hit it again several times to stop it.

The mouse was not reacting to clicks and it is brand new only been in use two days and every other game is not having issues so again think this is WoW.

I’ll be frank this makes me wonder what on earth made them think such a patch was even fit to be put out to the public if it clearly was not properly tested on various hardware configurations properly and or the data from those who did test it was not looked at properly. So much like you, I am in the same view this had made the game unplayable.

I also hope it gets fixed promptly.

Are you still having issues? I’ve been contacting the GM for 6 days straight. A friend of mine who did play World of Warcraft is now a computer tech working for Elite Dangerous and Planet Zoo; he was familiar with these issues. He said that TwitchUI.exe might be a cause but I have twitch uninstalled then he reckons it could be addons that are affecting it. He and the GM told me to uninstall all addons and see how the performance goes so I have done so; so far I am not witnessing anything out of the ordinary but I cannot say for sure so I will test it again.

Today I had an email from Blizzard saying that addons can cause the problem as they have hidden overlays that can interfere with performance such as AtlasLoot and Rarescanner (I had Rarescanner before so I had to uninstall it). So far I didn’t witness anything bad apart from some weird camera action going on as my curser sticks to the camera and moves it without me touching the mouse buttons. I hope this might help you too! :slightly_smiling_face:

I do not use any kind of addons and it was not as you described in your initial post the issue for me was one I had to install my screens driver and then I had to sort out the refresh rate and set it so it was in sync with the graphics card which is a 5700XT Strix the screen is 144mhz refresh rate once the frame rate in-game was manually set as the same as the screen the issue resolved the lag stopped happening to me. Been fine since played WoiW for 3-4hrs yesterday nothing happened control wise since doing this with the mouse or keyboard.
