I am getting stuck in the loading screen every third one or so. Have to kill the game and then start it up and it works for a few more before the same happns. I’ve tried deleting wtf and cache and start the game up without addons.
It started last nigth when retail patch hit so i wonder if it got something with server power or something
I haven’t counted any of the loading screens, getting summoned, ghost running, logging in, porting to a dung but i noticed a large number of times the loading screen is awfully slow. I wondered if i had outdated addons but i don’t, so what is it?
Same here. Loading screens getting stuck often today. Have to Alt+F4 a lot…
Have to restart the game several times every third or so loading as you describe, very annoying. The world also fails to load, such as running from sw to goldshire when suddenly everything is empty, logging out and using spells is impossible, while chat seems to work perfectly fine, so the only option is ALT+F4. This is on classic era btw
Hmm, didn’t happen to me so far. Maybe it is an addon?
Same thing is happening to me. I get stuck in loading screen and have to restart the game. I also noticed that I get disconnected sometimes when I join a raidgroup.
Its second day and this BS is still going strong…fix it already…
I have the same issue. I deleted my Inteface, Cache, and WTF folder. Issue still persists. I can confidently say it is not an addon issue, or any problems with the settings. It is not an issue with hardware either since more demanding games run smoothly, and the load on my hardware never exceeds 50% prior to or during the freezes. I am stumped as to what the issue may be
I tried to reset IP and flush DNS, but that didn’t help either
I also did a scan and repair multiple times. It dowloaded some gamefiles, but the problem still persists
I also did the /console cvar_default, but that didn’t help either
I just did a complete reinstall., still getting stuck on loading screen

Seeing more and more of this topic on the forums atm, ive had this same problem for last 3 days or so, havent found a fix for it yet, so it’s a blizz problem.
This is happening to several of my guildies including me. It seems have happened after the “patch day” on retail. It seems to affect certain people, not everyone, I cannot connect the dots but most of our guildies are from scandinavia. Hopefully enough people reply to this so blizzard can look into it.

yea, happens very often still. And very frustrating when you get kicked from dungeons because you get stuck in loading screens, and then get deserter buff aswell 
I was playing alot last night with little problem, but first thing i meet today after exiting a dungeon, i get stuck on loading screen, so gues they did nothing.
