I have listened to most of the interviews about player housing , and if I remember correctly somewhere it was said that there are going to be loading screens when entering the house . Wouldn’t it be much better if they made it without a loading screen like how they have done for delves without a loading screen ?
It would definitely feel much smoother to play with especially if you are hopping in and out of the house all the time .
This is more of a feedback post since they have said that things can change and that they are open to negative feedback .

Loading screens have to be there because of the sheer number of assets and the infinite combinations they can be in.

if they can succesfully make it like delves, it would be DELICIOUS

I, you, and everyone else would probably prefer without loading screen.
But I think the reason it needs a loading screen is that there are many moving objects and it needs to load the save state of your personal instance. With Delves it’s different, because you don’t save your state of the Delve, when you leave it. Dungeons have a loading screen for that same reason as player housing

Technology improves day by day, just hoping it can be like delves at some point
Yeah same here! An odd thing for me but I really wanted to have a balcony in my house and then talk to somebody outside. Odd I know but I just really wanted to do it!

It would be cool, if they could make the instance as the whole neighbourhood, not only house
Delves is just loading a phase.

Fairly sure there’s no Loading screen when you switch houses to look at in BDO, No matter how many assets each person has there.
Loading screens exist so that they do not break immersion, despite how weird it sounds.
The entire game, in fact every game, can exist without loading screens. When there is no loading screen, what you see is first everything disappearing from your screen (because they are being unloaded from memory), then an entirely black or blue or green screen, and then everything new starting to pop up (floor, objects, your character, etc.). It’s a very unpleasant experience to the eye, and that’s exactly why loading screens exist.
I don’t think that’s true. For example Bethesda said that their main-studio-games needed to have Loading Screens, because everything you do and every mark you leave in the world gets saved

I agree, it’s not possible to have none, the lag would be insane.
I don’t find Delves seemless either, it’s clearly loading us in.
Having said that, this just reinforces that I’d prefer my own instanced home and no neighbourhood. So that the indoor and outdoor would be seamless.

Indeed having your own instance for your home will be far superior, but also being able to have a “guild plot” where people can have their homes and there being a “guild hall” would be pretty nice as well.
I’ve not looked at any interviews/reviews of the sneak peak of the housing stuff as I want to experience without any spoilers as to what it looks like or what you can added etc.
I have no clue what BDO is, but is there a relation from the outside to the inside, because WoW housing will be like the Tardis.
Technicly you can get a loading screen for a delve if loading a delve takes bit longer than expected. Usually delves are loaded in the background just like with surface and underground when you fly through the coreway the new map is loaded in the background and when you cross the certain point the game just swaps maps.
I assume there is a lot to laod for the interior of the house because it has to lead all the decrations for the decorating system and wouldn’t work with the way delves work and you can’t put a long corrider to hide loading screen.
Ah so a game that came out 6 years ago and not in anyway comparible to a 20 year old game.
Yeah not relevent in the slightest when discussing WoWs housing.
