Logging into last played realm?

I’ve been playing HC on the fresh Anniversary realm.
As far as I know Bnet/Wow classic should log you back on the same realm/screen/character that you’ve last played on (in my case, Soulseeker). However, it keeps logging me back onto Thunderstrike, another Anniversarly realm but just not HC.

I have this problem only on the Anniversary realm, it works fine on Classic Era and Hardcore + Seasonal realms

In the Battlenet launcher, there’s a new setting “Launch into” just above the Play button.

Choose hardcore Anniversary Realms there.

yup just select the game you want to get logged into from the dropdown menus

Ufff didn’t even notice that there is a hardcore vs non option for the anniversary realms specifically! Much thanks, have a great day to all of you!

You’ve selected “Anniversary Realms”. You need to select “Hardcore Anniversary Realms”.

At least that option works for me just fine.

I didn’t even see that there is that option… I thought there is only anniversary realms, not HC anniversarly realms… whoops, my bad! You’re a Hero Etly! Good day to you x)
