Thanks for keeping us updated during the downtime! Appreciate you <3
When bootlickers bootlick.
I believe that subscription-based games should offer compensation when servers are not functioning properly. Although Blizzard didn’t warn us about potential issues, we are currently unable to play, which is not our fault. Therefore, I think Blizzard should extend our subscription by one week to account for the time we cannot play due to their server problems.
Yea, how dare I not overflow with negativity and soy energy
Thanks to everyone for the hard work to sort the servers and stuff.
Was it Xal’atath or players taking days off?
Loged in…loged on Silvermoon. Earlier reinstalled WoW before found that forum page. All my characters are gone cept one from Pandaria remix on lvl 10 (and that one i advanced earlier to lvl 70 too)… i don’t know what was fixed but for me its not fix at all.
Edit : everything is fine now.
Just be patient. Empty character select screens are quite common when the game is unhealthy - they usually show back up after a little wait.
“It happens, ‘that’s’ what you have to suck up, not a failed SLA.”
But you are literally saying we need to suck up the fact that SLA’s breach…
And also, I disagree with you saying this isn’t about whether or not they are good to their staff. In my opinion, it should count at least as much as them not being good to us. It’s something throughout the company, the way they treat everyone, in this game but also in other games. If we’re paying 182 to 233 euros a year for this, in my opinion it’s not acceptable that either we or their staff ghave to deal with things like this.
What if, just a hypothetical, this downtime could have been avoided if some employee didn’t have to think “I don’t get paid enough for this :stuff:” and did their job better because they get paid better?
How dare you not demand basic service on your level 12 char. How dare you not enable the same bad practices to continue to happen every time. How dare you just excuse greedy corporations fire the people doing the actual work to extract more money from the bootlicking customers who don’t even have the dignity to demand better.
You sound like a Karen. Opinion rejected
Im able to log in to silvermoon
Of course I do to you, bootlicker.
Works for me now on Silvermoon
working , thanks much
As a general reminder, while we understand this kind of situation may be frustrating we also want to kindly point out that the Forum Code of Conduct still remains valid.
While I can’t confirm or deny if the dark machinations of Xal’atath had anything to do with this (who knows what she is capable of to get to her goals… ), I am happy to say that players taking days off are not guilty!
I wish we had more Support Agents like you.
Characters on Bronze Dragonflight, Argent Dawn and Ravencrest are all working.
Thank you again.
And finally we are back after 6 hours. Things happens we all know that, but next time inform the people before they start raging.
ye thx blizzard, the game was not accessible for almost 10hrs on my server, now I’m getting LUA errors supposedly from outdated addons while ALL MY ADDONS ARE DISABLED. what a day, another update, another flood of bugs. trippleA quality
I mean, the fact that staff have (at least historically, I can’t comment on the current) been mistreated has nothing to do with the current outage. You can’t just make up hypotheticals to justify it as a potential cause.
How they treat people was deplorable. But it’s completely unrelated to a bloody server outage lol. If you still have issue with their business practices, why are you still giving them money in the first place?
What exactly do you think is happening? Employees working a switchboard and just figuring “Ahhhh sod it, I don’t get treat well enough for this…”
There is so much that can go wrong with a simple deployment that these things happen. Servers go down, fixes take time. That’s it, that’s the whole of my position on the situation. Not sure why you’re bringing the rest into the situation lol.
