There is no news panel in login screen now. I just reopened the game.

IT crowd; have you tried turning it off and on again ?
Not sure what’s going on and why it wasn’t mentioned about the maintenance only found it when looking on the internet. might not even be right but would account for the issues i guess.

There are other threads about this problem on the forum and I commented under one. Here is my comment for one more feedback and keeping up this topic:
I can’t log into the Character Selection Screen now saying “Logging in to game server” forever. For the first try I could and I saw in the realm list the Silvermoon realm was offline. I have characters on other server too but now as I said I can’t log into the Character Selection Screen even. (I logged off for the last time from Silvermoon realm and probably the game wanna connect to that automatically but can’t.)

I hope they bring it back sooner or later, it’s not like we’re going to check X or whatever each time before I want to log into the game.
I happen to hear there was a maintenance also, but I do miss the little screen in general telling me if/what was going on, or what was going to happen.

Hope Blizz will give free transfer off this realm. At the launch of TWW, it will be a nightmare for sure.
Same here, was able to login a few hours ago, then got disconnected. Then stuck on the login screen. My Beta version and US account works, so must be an issue on blizzards end.
Same, only on Silvermoon.
