I am playing on EU realmpool (as you already know since I post here), but I am currently in south america, a friend of mine (who lives here, in South america) also plays world of Warcraft and I wanted to show him my account. Is it possible and allowed to log into my account from his computer or could this cause any troubles or violate the terms of service?
There is a possibility that they will see it as account sharing but if you’re using an authenticator it may not be an issue.
It should be fine, you should just trigger the authenticator since you are logging in from a new computer or place.
Theres no rules about traveling or logging in from another machine where wow is played.
No you will be fine. When I first moved to the States 12 years ago until I got my own PC I had to use my (soon to be ex) son in law’s PC to play my EU WoW account, When I moved back to Sweatyland just over 2 years ago I brought my American PC with me.
(Of course being an idiot I forgot the American PC power pack was nowhere strong enough to take British power and soon as I turned on the PC… BZZZZZZZZZZZZT followed by burning smell. Fortunately, 15 quid got me a powerpack compatible with UK power and I was good to go.)
Long story short as long as you aren’t up to obvious naughties with blatant account sharing using PC’s from different countries shouldn’t be an issue as long as your account is running smoothly.
Not sure if it’s going to be the same when you are on different continents, but when moving across Europe and playing WoW in different countries, I never had any issues with my account.
