Why I logout instantly with some of my characters and with some of them I have to wait 20 sec? I still cant figure this out for years…
I just noticed its on certain characters , but they are on the same account and realm with the same settings/interface. Why some of them relog/logout instant and others are 20 sec slower?
If you are in a rested area you skip the 20 secound wait

It’s true, it’s always been like that.
You’ve been playing for since at least 2013 and you didn’t know logging out in an inn or city is instant and outside of those isn’t? Oh dear.
You also get a lot more rested XP logging out in an instant Inn or city.
No matter where you logout it will be 20 seconds before your character is actualy logged out. It is to ensure everything about your character, any changes to action bars or settings get properly saved. When you are in a resting area it will log you out instantly but your character will still be ingame for those 20 seconds. Becasue it’s a resting area the game assumes you are in a safe place and no mob will suddenly spawn to kill you during those 20 seconds.

SWTOR is my main game. I never get how the lil things in WoW works. I just play it for PvP and mount farm.
But now I play mostly WoW and just started to notice some things.
I tried SW:TOR but once I made my lightsabre I kind of fizzled out. I know that’s not very far into it.
Yeah. You get your lightsaber in the first zone if you play as Jedi Guardian/Sentinel (Warrior) or Jedi Sage (Shadow Priest).
You dont remember me, but I just insulted you and everyone in the old WoW forums back then Maybe 2014. I never thought I`ll sub and play WoW for real back then. The forums were free for Starter Edition.
But yeah… SWTOR is just about the story (end-game suck). No new content anymore. WoW is better.
I can still remember climbing up the hill and fighting my way into the building to do something with the crystal. Still it’s longer than I played ESO, LotRO, FFXiV and probably DCUO too.
SWTOR is not for new players and WoW lore guys. I playing it only cuz I was raised with KOTOR (Knights of the Old Republic) and the cool story about Revan, Bastila, Malak, etc. SWTOR is mostly for KOTOR lore guys. The PvP is worse than WoW. But the community is better in there, tho. You can have fun in general chat , not like in here nowadays… only boost spam and silence.
