what im most annoyed about is those punishing horrific visions
got stuck in combat bug even tho i wasnt in combat, and couldn’t use orb to regenerate my sanity, now i lost 10,000 currency off of idiotic bug
feels amazing
This pretty much… some people need to realize they just have burned out from WoW. No new patch is gonna magically fix all that, not sure new expac will… certainly not for a long time til’ you are again bored of doing the same old you’ve done years.
Take a break, a long one if you have to. Not sure what people really expected this patch to do…
You look amazing !!!
ps; mechagnomes >> fox ppl #MINORITY
Well I think complaining without constructive feedback is norm in our society. Instead complaining, negative feedback can be given explaining why it is negative. but its okey Blizzy eu forums are peoples personal blogs, we get it.
This is for example reason of my tantrums, most likely. But I do not think people are willing to see that problem comes from their own changed preferences or expectations. I do find that BfA is bad, but most certainly I have also changed. I used to love vanilla, but for example I cannot tolerate classic at all.
I used to be true farmer, now I am worn just because I had to find 4 rares.
Classes still play like garbage so nothing has changed. They just put a purple paint job on everything and called it a day. Played it for a few hours yesterday and went back to gw2.
I still have so much to do as I have barely done anything but Auction house and ganking vulpera in org.
I plan to move at a snail pace but in terms of story I have already cheated and watched many cutscenes!
I hope that what you mention we see more leading in to next week and also, despite claims otherwise, a pre expansion patch.
It is a legitimate complaint I think, to have large gaps in storytelling In-Game that are expected to be filled by the books instead. I don’t think it unreasonable to have both at all, I’d even argue leaving this stuff un-answered in-game is detrimental.
New dungeons are always nice, I last played in WoD so this is an upgrade to say the least. What we got in BfA was nice, more would have veen nice but for me sky is the limit as long as it is somewhat challenging.
I look forwards to trying this out in Suramar, had no idea, it’s on my bucket list when I finally can choose my one character and take my time to work on all quests in the game(without mashing the accept button lol).
Shadowlands brings extensive customization which is all I have ever wanted when it comes to my character - to me it’s like you can play whatever race/class you like but they pretty much all look related lol, hopefully this includes body sliders and stuff… Don’t think it does but we will see.
Thanks for sharing, it’s constructive, thought provoking and y’know, that has potential to inspire people and maybe even bring change one day.
I’m not so sure if I need that second cup of coffee this morning lol
the rare ones in uldum is a pain, they need a faster respawn. i gave up 2 out of 4 after 1hr, can waste that much of my playtime on a single quest
I have no idea why people are doing these quests.
Overall I think with the already very long intro questline, they better opened dailies after finishing the storyline in an area. Now you take the storyline-quest and immediately next to it there is another guy with available quests. I know, I know, they are blue… but you (most of us) take them. And then you burn out in uldum.
I am liking the patch so far. Plenty to do, lots of stuff to collect, and I love that we got another mount to raise from scratch! Can’t wait to get my cute little tentacled bee!
Only complaint from me is that the dailies feel -very- unrewarding, both in terms of reputation gain and currency, especially given the time and effort invested in completing them all. I was hoping we would get more dynamic and diverse ways to gain reputation this patch, but I guess that was too much to hope for.
Basically because they are available when you already go in that area. And you assume you do them together with the storyline quest. Blue quests are usually doable in 10 minutes, aren’t they?
That pretty much sums up Battle for Azeroth.
Well it is a bit long. Due to bad respawns it took me almost 30 minutes to get like 5 quests in assault zones done. (not so fun)
I managed to get to my first horrific vision when it was time for bed… and I was home early yesterday… stopped for the day at that time, not wanting to do the vision when tired and messing it up…
Not done any allied race activation quest yet so yeah there is too much time spent aat the first 2 assault style areas due to some problems with respawn for certain objectives. Well yeah I admit I went to go look what the assault zones had to offer, so it took longer… but there is definitely space for improvement, especially when many, many players run around in the same confined space…
Having to do the same on the many alts I have … makes me shudder though, even being able to skip some of it… feels bad… Nazjatar : I did it like 7 times already and was miffed eversince the 3rd time I had to do that intro…
It is BFAs biggest hurdle in my opinion, even Legion was more Alt-friendly.
I am an Altoholic and I do like collecting things but this is become just a burden, not an enjoyment as it should be.
And that is peoples problem, not Blizzards problem. I did complain too, yes - but luckily I snapped out of it realising I do not need either - not the 75 rep or the quest itself to do the actual meta quest chain.
my life is too darn short to complain over things i do not need to do… yes, I know I contradict myself, but as i said - I snapped out of it this soon after.
I’m taking it slowly and have so far only got as far as Uldum. The only annoying thing was the long respawn time on rares and that there were 3 times as many horde as alliance so it was almost impossible to tag them. It took me the whole day to get 3 but I couldn’t face flying round any more so thought I’d have a go for the last one today. Hadn’t realised it was a daily and had vanished this morning together with my 3 hard-won rare kills.
Some people (like me too) prefer to avoid spoilers and let the new events roll out totally unknown.
Also 100 times this. I hope his ears were burning.
Least Jaina at times did portals to me. What can I conclude ? humans are nicer than dwarves.
Yeah
After a long time I checked the rewards and it was obviously not worth it to fly around for 1.5 hours with the 4 of us searching for that missing rare. In the questlog it is not showing it is blue and ‘just a daily’. It is just there in your questlog on the right.
I was early home, had dinner the day before prepared and was ready for a long evening of questing. I had a lot of patience. I also am pretty satisfied with my progress on the first day of this patch
After morning coffee and 6 visions later, today I am much happer too.
Ouch, haha I am at work. But my cloak got to lvl 4 yesterday. I did run the visions with my tank. I think I got ~8000 of those coal-currency left.
