Hey fellow hunters, I play MM. But as a old school hunter am not really a fan of Lone wolf, I like having a pet but am not sure how much a nerf am taking by having one and where best to put the talent point can anyone help?
I would get Crack Shot or Steady Focus tbh. Crack shot just reduces cost of your main attacks and then steady focus increases your haste if you use steady shot twice in a row. For the base hunter line I used Wilderness Mending/Misdirection + No hard feelings for overworld kinda content. For damage not much there tbh. (This is if you’re getting rid of trigger finger)

No worries! Having a pet out anyways especially in delves when you’re soloing is genuinely amazing. Just remember to keep mend pet on an easy keybind.
p.s. IIRC mend pet is still broken (wont switch to revive pet when your pet dies) so make sure you keep this macro keybinded on an easy to reach slot so you can keep the heal up, and your pet virtually won’t die
