I started playing SV hunter again in pvp and i cant believe how broken the pets are. They respond little to nothing and are constantly out of range . So either give all specs a proper lone wolf talent or make sure none of the hunters abilities are depending on a pet.
And most of all give Lone Wolf talent to Beast Master Hunters! I wanna be a Lone Wolf BM, gonna be my favorite spec lol.
So, because you can’t manage your pet, they should rework the whole spec just for you.
The players who are enjoying this spec and who can manage their pet would have to suffer from a rework just because you’re too lazy to learn how to manage it.

Yup, exactly what i didn’t say.
You did, you say that the pets respond to nothing, well they do when you know how to get them to do what you want.
You said that they should give a lone wolf talent or make sure none of the hunters abilities are depending on a pet, if you spent more than 5 minutes on the SV spec you quickly understand that the pet is really important. You can read the spells if you didn’t
So, lone wolf in class talent tree would be useless and would actually waste another talent that’s actually useful, and on top of that you couldn’t play SV properly without a pet and then you would complain to get the abilities changed, so you don’t need a pet, and that’s what you call a rework.
So yes, you are asking for a rework because YOU can’t manage your pet.

With pets constantly getting stuck on all kinds of things like rocks, hills or branches allot of sv abilities dont respond. So yes, a talent for lone wolf would be welcome to me untill Blizzard can sort out the pets, so i can actually use my abilities since half of them dont work cause my pet hangs out some where humping a fallen tree. Outside of those times i control my pet just fine ty.
They don’t even lean towards Lone Wolf for MM yet they nerfed it by half. You know, they don’t like it when people have fun.
They could easily change it so the pet would only be important for animations and not for the abilities function.
Intimidate for example now “summons a pet from your stable” and is a good example for mechanics like that.
Spearhead and Kill Command would work with mechanics like this really well especially in PvP.
I had many moments as a survival hunter, where i needed my pet to switch targets quickly, but couldnt use Kill Command because it was simply out of range.
I dont think that OP wants the specs to play without the pets, but that important abilities stop relying on the pets distance to the target or potential CC to disrupt our activation of abilities.
They could just use something similar to Intimidate, where it plays an animation of a pet jumping on the target (could just be a copy of your current pet).
For PvP there are EZ fixxes that could imporve quality of live for hunter
- Aoe CC doesnt hit pets (there is the most reason your pet cannot do anything, it sits stuns or root or fears)
Or - X fix pet dispell the talent in the hunter tree only have a 25 % change too dispell should be min 50%per tick or there are

pets like exotics that have a dispel for themself BUT its not passive you active have too press it and its on the gcd this pets also dont have ms

Movement speed increase for pets not slowable under x% speed
There are many workarrounds and skill that your pet have a higher uptime atm. I pkay with the pvp talent wild kingdom where you can resummon a pet mid fight no cast on a 1 min cd that could help
Yes this. I know i’m not the only player that doesn’t like this part of the sv hunter. It is too reliant on the pet, which normally is fine but there are plenty of time where the pet gets stuck, so i have to dismiss it. Twin peaks center GY for example. I’ve had my pet stuck between the rocks in the center of eye of the storm…
