Now that we have red draenei and red night elves and stuff, i was wondering does this mean that this may open up doors to the long requesed Forest trolls (Revantusk)? Ive been rather bored with wow recently and had this idea to come back roleplaying a Revantusk, but having the customizations would help. 
What do you think?
I think it would be cool to have customisation options for them, but I would prefer for them to expand on Darkspears first, if that makes sense.
True true. They still need the heritage armor.
But night elves got the announcement of their heritage armor along with customizations on the same timeframe roughly. So I’m hopeful lol.

Well, tbf, adding forest trolls isn’t as easy as adding man’ari as forest and ice trolls are bigger, bulkier, than the jungle, dark, sand and blood trolls.
That said, I’m 100% on board nonetheless, if we don’t get body customisations then this is the next best thing!
They could at least have added more real green skins when they added skin tones, and larger tusks. I like the sand troll skin though but it’s till unsure if they’re with the Horde now so it’s hard to use it anyway, forest trolls are in the Horde, should have gotten more options for them instead of sand and dark troll skins maybe…
I think what everyone seems to agree on, broadly, is that they can add more customizations. It’s minimal cost to the devs since many of these skins already exist in the game. Minimal effort on Blizzard’s part, and they could even gate it behind some seasonal questline, trading post item, or another means of getting more playtime out of us. It’s a win-win/
Inb4 Blizzard adds dark troll/blood troll skins without any explanation and washes their hands off the whole affair for another set of years.
Really though. I would love a nice heritage quest line that has all the (non-mad) tribes gather under some meeting hosted by Queen Talanji to add some nice flavor lore of the trolls and serve as a means to introduce some nice new appearances. (More BONES!)
Maybe Zandalar could serve as a Horde-affiliated base for cast-offs from other tribes? Like a sort of initiative to flow 'em right into RP.

I’ll be long dead in the ground before I recognize that weak slap-on as a proper dark troll skin. Those are just trolls from the Shatterspear tribe at best.
YES! I would have loved that as well. The orcs kinda had something similar in their heritage quest.
True true. They already have a place in Zandalar where all the troll tribes gather. Called Terrace of speakers.
What’s funny is that they are supposed to be mostly extinct with majority of them turning into night elves, and a few of them got wiped out by the twilights hammer.
The last remaining dark troll NPC we have is in Zandalar who claimed that her tribe got wiped out. And if we follow world quests as cannon, then the alliance players technically killed her lmao.
We got blood trolls, sand trolls, Dark trolls all of which aren’t confirmed as being part of the horde. Would be nice to complete it and add Forrest trolls (Revantusk) and maybe a few good ice trolls while at it.
True true. But one thing to remember is that only the males are bulky. Most female forest trolls + ice trolls have the same model as the darkspear.
The shatterspear in Zandalar literally uses one of those skintones tho…
