The topic title says it all, I’ve already made many topics, but I won’t stop until blizzard deigns to come forward and do some actions on the forum and do something about this problem, transfers to half-dead realms don’t work for smart people, because those half-dead realms will be dead in a couple of months, and you will have no other option but to pay the transfer and go to a server worthy of the game. And here comes blizzard’s melting of money from people !!! Also, in the queue, I not only waste time and money, but my electricity bill is even higher, in the biggest energy crisis in Europe!!! A multi-million dollar company like Blizzard, which advertises as if they live under a rainbow, as if everything is milk and honey, they need to stop lying on social networks and pay attention to the players and listen to them for a while, more than 10k players each day is on hold to play, waste time, waste money. 10k players = 100k euros only per month, and where is the whole year…
Dont hold your breath then, Blizz pay absolutely ZERO attention to the EU forums you need to be on the US forums for that.
Also, whether or not you can afford your energy bills is sod all to do with Blizzard, the EU energy crisis in this case is irrelevant. If you can’t afford the electricity use then you should be switching off.
Are you for real? Blizzard isnt demanding you to play wow.
Reported
Blizzard doesn’t force me to play the game, but at least make it optimal for each player, so that I don’t have to click on teamviewer every 5 minutes when I have to go to the toilet. Are you normal people, we’ve been preparing for a new expansion for a year, and at the end 10,000 people have to wait in line to play the game for 2-3-4-5-6 hours. It’s like we live in the stone age…
And yes, you can report me to the Hague in the Netherlands, it hurts me as much as blizzard hurts for players on Gehenas
Blizzard is responsible for your electricity bills, now?
How are you… I don’t know what word to put without it being difficult for someone’s brain, like this I don’t know what your computers run on, are they powered by water, milk, flour, really… but mine is powered by electricity! And when I turn on the computer and WoW, I have to wait 6-8 hours to enter the game. This means that my computer is working more than it should be working at times. Is it really that hard to understand? But no, you have to get things out of the contest, and I don’t care if it’s your problem, but don’t pretend to be naive, and don’t deny other people’s problems.
my “smart meter” is broken and gives me electricity without having to pay for it.
Don’t snitch.
Don’t waste your time responding to these people, they’re either beyond stupid or their lives are that incredibly dull that they have nothing better to do than wind people up on here by twisting their words to make them sound absurd.
Blizzard are taking people’s money for an extremely poor service and the limited options they have given us, in my opinion, are given in the hope that we pump more money their way in the future to rectify decisions we are forced to make now (paid transfers back to active servers).
“Blizzard isn’t demanding you to play wow.” We OBVIOUSLY want to play and are paying to do so, but can’t (or can if we transfer to a realm where the first language isn’t our own, a PvP realm that is dominated by the opposite faction, or a realm that will be dead in a few months) because of their incompetence…
You show a very big lack of intelligence, but I will try to explain this to you so you dont make the same mistake in the future. Now everyone can see how stupid you are in public, and this is something you want to avoid.
When you have your PC on it also generates heat. In fact, most of the power consumption that your PC is using, is generated into heat. As long as you dont cool down the airtemperature in your house at this time of the year, the PC doesnt change the total power consumption on your electric bill.
There is however a small if here, and that is if you use a heating pump for heating, that is slightly more efficient than running your computer.
Also what other alternatives do you have? If you dont sit on your PC youre probably watching TV
To be fair, regular HD TVs don’t use much power these days
It’s not my job to mess with electricity, not my job, and how electricity and computers work, I’m not interested in that in life. I apologize for being short on intelligence, but that’s why we have you to say that!!! And thanks for the information. They certainly helped this queue.
You know what, until this point I didn’t even consider the electric spent sitting in really long queues for such a time.
Blizzard do need to do something, but they won’t; if they do then yay, but they’re not going to I don’t think.
“You show very big lack of intelligence” and then you proceeded to show your lack of intelligence.
First of all, heating pump isn’t slightly more efficient. It can be close to half more efficient.
Secondly, there are systems that utilise heat from underground/water and that is even more efficient.
Thirdly, he might even not be paying for his heating! If he rents his place, he only loses money as usually the landlord pays the heating and that is included in rent as a solid price.
Next time dont talk to others like they’re idiots, when they very likely are smarter than you, which isnt a huge feat.
It’s not about affording, it’s about principles.
We have overpopulated the planet and having an ever growing footprint in the name of living standards and growth. If we want to commit global suicide, let’s continue, but for the sake of our offspring, we should stop.
Saving the planet is much more important than any other agenda Blizzard is after.
Of course, a responsible person will turn off the PC and then never manage to get past the queue, and thus … well, lawyers can decide whether they should have rerolled or deserve their money back, I believe we have exhausted the arguments on both sides.
(If WoW is a social game where you play with your friends, then you deserve to play on the realms you did, so that you can play with those specific people. If that’s not a priority and you should accept to play with random unknown people, always ready to keep moving, then another set of arguments fails and the game can be requalified as a multiplayer, but not an MMO, just like Heroes or D3 aren’t MMOs despite being massive, multiplayer and online.)
There aren’t too many humans on the planet, that has always been a lie.
I agree you have to stay in queue for 5 hours to play 2 hours which was before 2 hours of game time and not 7 hours which your pc need energy totally agree man
To save Electricity Blizzard just needs to fling those in a queues over to Hydraxian Warlords - bring some chatter, I have no idea why I am here. I forgot how Gear is so colourful in TBC , I look like a 2nd hand shop
Thats just 1 server alone, on Gehenneas from around 10 in the morning GMT+1 we get queue, by the time of 11 GMT+1 we have about 9-10k in queue and that makes the queue be around 9-10 hours long
Imagine…
I always thought all the Gehennas/Thekal login-Q waiters were just living in their mom’s basement.
Since everyone else has jobs/lifes to attend too, right?
Guess I was wrong!
Players aren’t paying for a subscription to sit in long queues, but they are paying to sit in them. It certainly isn’t irrelevant.
