Hey there
I have mainly Epic BG in mind here: nameplates, names, spells, colors and flash everywhere in a huge melee fight, and especially when I play a melee class it gets very confusing. I barely can see what I am hitting.
I’ve tried to play with the nameplates, names, and so on of the interface but without success. No mameplates at all in clearer but I’d like to see from a distance where are the ennemies and how many they are, so maybe not a solution.
Maybe your have an addon to advice me?!
Also, is there a way to have healers appearing with one color, which would make them easier to focus on?

What you’re describing feels like trying to gain an unfair advantage.
You might as well be asking to have markers on all opponents in a battleground so you can see in the distance.
This won’t work due the distance cut-off of the game.
Best option is to have a nameplate addon that somehow colors things properly, or hides nameplates if there’s healers around, but that would need to be written I think as none of the ones I know do this. And this would be the only allowed approach to do what you’re asking.
Pretty sure Blizz capped the drawing distance of enemy player nameplates to 60 yards a year ago.
If your screen is cluttered turn off pet and minion nameplates if you have that on.

I’m not looking for having a long range view distance, only to have the name plates, and target names and role name plates (healers for instance) be clearer.
The Healers have to Die (H.H.T.D.) Addon was pretty useful in epic BGs, not sure if it still exists.

Back when I had to do my Mage Tower recolour I used that. Still seems to get updated.
