You missed the train, bud. The server is dying off at a fairly rapid pace. There’s a small core of people sticking with it, but it’s pretty much a low-pop realm at this point. It was a blast while it lasted, but like all reroll projects, it didn’t really have staying power.

Due to the fact that I plan to play on TBC, I started on this realm. However, I am concerned that checking server statistics shows that the population is low. Having 11 level I don’t have anyone to play with, I don’t meet anyone in the game. Do you think that the situation will improve with the announcement of a pre-patch or a tbc exit?
If you want leveling company I’d go high-pop realm now, as the Dragonfang project already started some time ago. There isn’t the same amount of players leveling right now, as there was.
I just mean that I have concerns whether realm will have at least Medium population, so that in the future at lvl 70 there will be no problem with BG.
Hopefully the pre-patch announcement will attract even more players here.

With Pre-patch less than a week away many will be considering Dragonfang for the 2nd Phase of the Fresh Crusade.
The server is still as close to a fresh server as can be had, an Auction house with realistic prices, open world resources available for farming, rather than attempting to beat the bots for every ore or herb and most importantly one of , if not THE, best server communities I’ve experienced since vanilla. It really does have that smaller tight knit community feel that has been lacking since Vanilla, and that many of us hoped Classic would be before the min/max meta invasion.
We’re welcoming all players to both factions as we’re pretty much 50/50 currently.

I actually didn’t know about this project, me and my family already reserved our names and are ready to start playing tomorrow.
I picked Dragonfang because it’s not high populated and I figured that it’s going to be madness at launch with the long queues (from what I remember from the Classic launch).

The irony here is that this unofficial TBC project might be better in terms of quality than the official TBC is, because for some odd reason Blizzard refuses to solve those big problems that plagued the WoW Classic, bots being the biggest offender.
I’m gonna have to wait and see whether Blizzard keeps sweeping those problems under the rug before I decide to jump ships.

It’s an official server! Just due to the historic low population before the Re-roll project in March it hasn’t been tainted by bots etc.
