It’s very annoying to have people double and triple posting their WTS or LFG ads in channels, is there an addon that will filter these messages?

How would you categorize something as spam? If it happens more than once? I suppose it would be possible to implement, but I have not heard of such an addon for retail or classic. You could also just ignore them.
There is an addon called BadBoy with build in filters, you can set your own words which when included won’t be shown in chat.
