Any suggestions what I can do to remember dungeon routes (shortcuts, etc.) since I always forget despite playing certain dungeons while levelling thousands of times
Also some advice be it tips or addons will be greatly appreciated! Thank you a lot in advance!
If it feels like an environment you learn in best, yes. There even are target dummies for tanks, if you wish to try those (found in Stormwind for example).
If you’re a new player, I would like to give a fair warning of unpatient players who do not care if you’re new or not; they will have their voices heard if the run is slow for their liking. So start by growing a steely skin. This will also effect on the dungeon routing a tank leads the group through ~
This is where the hardship of learning the dungeons comes in for you; assuming by the question itself. There are websites and addons that might help, but those are mostly used for max lvl content (mythic+ dungeon runs). For example https://keystone.guru/ which has a expansion routes tab, but only covers expansion dungeons that have been in any mythic content by the looks of it.
Maybe someone has posted a video on youtube?
Mostly I’d say it is muscle memory you have to learn and trust. And to make it easier on yourself, do not mix expansions during queue. You have 20+ years of dungeons and content here.
Why not? If nothing else, playing tank spec in the open world is a very comfortable - and often efficient - way to level, and do World Quests at max. And it gives you lots of practice with your buttons and talents.
I have always had a problem with this as well, especially when it comes to niceties like whether and how to skirt packs (though no doubt some DPS will pull them anyway )
The only thing that works for me is deliberately queueing for the same Specific dungeon several times in a row. When I keep getting different dungeons, it all becomes a blur and I forget too easily. If I repeat the same dungeon, at some point I just know I’ve got it, I won’t forget, and I can move on.
Thank you a lot! I actually never thought of that but I think this would really be the best working method for me to take one at a time till I learn it than hop onto the next etc.
