Hello.
So i created a spreadsheet in google sheets (first it was on a notepad) with all the BiS items that i need to farm from dungeons and raids.
But whenever i enter a dungeon or a raid, i am unsure what item i need to look for.
Is there an addon that you can “store” your items that you wish to farm (like a wishlist), and when you enter a certain dungeon or raid, it tells you what items you can get based on your wishlist?
…it’s annoying to always have to tab out and check…
…especially anoying when you are in a dark room, and then you alt-tab to a white spreadsheet …it reaaaaaly hurts your eyes…
Sorry, I don’t know of one. With only - how many? 10? 15? - entries though, there are several notes display type programs you could have a look at.
I use the addon Notes https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/notes for lists of things I am farming for, especially when using multiple characters. It’s a small, lightweight addon. I agree that tabbing out to open a spreadsheet is not great.
Copy your spreadsheet list into a Note, type /notes or macro it on a button, and your shopping list is displayed in the game.
The “Angry” series has Angry Notes and Angry Assignments, which you might look at. And I just know there has to be a way to do something clever in Weakauras
Abandoned, not updated anymore, but still works fine in Shadowlands. Whenever an item drops, you can just mouse over it, and see if its on the wishlist, and in which category.
Can’t you just look at the dungeon journal and look? I’m sure you’ll know when something on your wishlist drops. If it’s a BiS list then you only need to remember which slot drops from which dungeon.
