Loot from mythic chest still comes from the highest run?

Have been running Mechagon for bracers all week, i hate the place, i still have no bracers, i was hoping for something something nice from the chest, i got trash ring from shrine with 2 worst stats and a lame corruption.

This isn’t good anymore.

I’m pretty sure it’s never dropped from the highest keys you’ve done last week.

Edit: As i know , if you complete 2x +11 you will get the loot from the one with better timing.

No, it doesn’t. The weekly chest contains an item from all loot tables of all M+ dungeons (including the ones you never set foot into). The level of that item is determined by the highest key level you have run that week (whether or not you have done it in time). You can’t target weekly chest loot by only running specific dungeons.

Never got anything from a lower lvl dungeon that i completed from weekly chest. I even remember some discussion during 8.0 and which got answered by a blue post that states loot comes from highest dungeon completed. Always aimed for specific loot table and always got it since Legion.
Even during 8.0 i run +10’s for my alts to get specific Azerite pieces from weekly chest. Always worked , never get anything surprising.

You could get loot from Violet Hold in your Legion weekly chest, and Violet Hold couldn’t even be run on m+.
